In the Name of God Amen This 1th day of March 1679
I William Cooke att Westenhanger in the County of Kent through the assistance of Allmighty God being att this p�sent [present] in p�fect [perfect] mind and memory doe begin to make this my last Will and Testament as Followeth vizt.

Imprimis I give and bequeath that fifty pounds which I Lent long since to my last Master Joseph Finch Esq. and for which he gave me his Bond I say I give the said fifty pounds unto his five daughters equally to be distributed to them

And my will is that aboute June next my Executor do receive itt of my said Master�s Executor Mr. John Harrison and Mr. Thomas Boone and then pay it to Mr Henry Clerke for him to putt it oute to interest to make the best improvement he can of it for the said children against they come to age of 21 yeares
Provided I doe die of this present indisposition

Item I give unto my late Master�s two Sisters each of them one broad peece of Gold
Item to Mr. Henry Clerke I give for a ring tenn shillings
Item to Mr. Christopher Tooley for a ring I give 20s
Item to my Cousen Anne Winterbourne of Wantage [Oxfordshire] I give tenn pounds
Item to my Cousen Martha Smith I give forty shilings
Item to my Cousen Thomas Taylor for a ring I give 10s
Item to Mr. Robert Hughes for a ring I give 20s
Item to Mr. Weldon and his wife for rings xxs
Item to Mr. Anthony Chambers for a ring I give xxs
Item to Mr. Thomas for a ring I give 20s
Item to my Couzen John Blagrove I give five pounds and to his son John Blagrove I give five pounds
Item my will is to allow for my funerall expenses twelve pounds but no more

Lastly I constitute and appoint my Cozen John Blagrove of Wantage and my worthy honest freind Mr. Robert Hughes of London to be Executors and for theire care & paines to see this my will executed & p�formed according to the true intent and meaning thereof I doe give unto them ten pounds apeece over & above what I have given to them before

And my will is further that if any overplus money shall Arise after all these Legacies and discharges, it may be distributed among my said Executors & my relations about Wantage
A silver spoon and a porringer I give to the Child Ruth Finch

the day first above mentioned being the 12th day of March 1679 I doe declare this to be my last Will & Testament
