Imprimis I give and devise unto my Brother in Law John Parks of the City of Canterbury now Linnen draper and Mary now his wife All that Messuage and Tenement (now converted into Three dwellings) together with all Outhouses Edifices Buildings Yards Gardens Emoluments Commodities and appurtenances to the same belonging or appertaining and with the same now used occupied and enjoyed situate and being in the Parish of Saint Dunstan aforesaid and now or late in the Several Occupations of me the said Ann Cooke and John Broadbridge and John Denn or assigns
And Also all that Messuage or Tenement with the Garden Backside Emoluents Commodities and Appurtenances to the same belonging situate and being in Saint Dunstan aforesaid and now or late in the Occupation of John Vandebrooke or his Assigns
To have and to hold all and every the above mentioned several Messuages or Tenements Gardens and all other the premisses with the Appurtenances unto the said John Parks and Mary his Wife and their Assigns for and during the Term of their natural Lives and the life of the Longest Liver of them And after their decease I give and devise the said several Messuages or Tenements Gardens and Premisses unto the Issue or Children of the said John Parks on the body of the said Mary begotten and to begotten and their Heirs equally to be divided between them share and share alike
and for want of such Issue or Children I do hereby give and devise the said several Messuages Tenements and Premisses to my Cozen Searles Jarman his Heirs and Assigns for ever
Item I give and devise unto Moses Parks Brother of the said John Parks All that Messuage
or Tenement Backside Garden with the Appurtenances to the same belonging situate and
being in the Parish of Saint Dunstan aforesaid and now or late in the Occupation of John
Hobbs or his assigns To have and to hold the said Messuage Tenement and Premisses unto
the said Moses Parks and his Assigns for and during the Term of his natural Life
And after his demise I give and devise the said Messuage Tenement and Premisses unto the said John
Parks and Mary his Wife and their Assigns for and during the term of their natural Lives
and the Life of the longer Liver of them
And from and after their decease I give and devise the said Messuage or Tenement and Premisses unto the Issue or Children of the said John
Parks on the Body of the said Mary begotten and to begotten and their Heirs equally to be divided between them share and share alike
And for default of such Issue or Children I do give and devise the said Messuage or
Tenement and Premisses unto the said Searles Jarman his Heirs and Assigns for ever
This is the Last Will and Testament of me the said Anne Cooke so far as concerns the disposing of my Real Estate
And as for my Personal Estate I dispose hereof as follows, That is to say
First I give and bequeath unto the said Moses Parks All my Goods and Furniture now remaining and being in the Chamber where he now lyes And I also give to him the Cupboard Kneading trough Warming Pan Jack Pulleys sand Weights and a Spit and all the pewter marked with his Name below Stairs And also the largest pewter Still a Brass porrige pot and a Brass Skillet together with all my Shop Goods
Item I give and bequeath unto the said Searles Jarman my Cypress Chest
Lastly all the Rest and Residue of my Goods Chattells and personal Estate whatsoever (after
my Debts Legacies and Funeral Expences are paid and discharged) I do hereby give and
bequeath into my said Brother John Parks
And I do hereby make and appoint him the sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament hereby reoking all former Wills by me
heretofore made
In Witness whereof to this my Last Will and Testament contained in Three Sheets of paper
fixed together so the first and Second Sheets of which I have set my Hand and to this Lst
have set my Hand and Seal the Sixth day of November in the Twelfth year of the Reign of
our Sovereign Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King
