[Administration] with the before registered will annexed of George William Cooke deceased was on the Seventh Day of May 1827 before the Reverend John Francis Clerk Surrogate to the Worshipful James Henry Arnold Doctor of Laws Vicar General of His Grace Charles by divine providence Lord Archbishop of Canterbury primate of all England and Metropolitan Granted to Mary Cooke Widow the natural and lawful Mother of the Deceased and Universal Legatee named in the said Will there being no Executor appointed She being first sworn well and truly to Administer

Notes:
George William Cooke was born on 28th Dec 1794 and christened 26 Jan 1795 at St. Margaret of Antioch, St. Margaret�s at Cliffe (near Dover, Kent), s. of George and Mary Cooke.
They appear to have had just one more son: 5 Jun 1803, James Wood Cooke, christened at St. Mary the Virgin, Dover.

George Cooke married Mary Coleman on 9th July 1793 at SS Peter & Paul, Eythorne (near Dover), and were both given as of that parish.
George William Cooke was buried, aged 33, on 5th April 1827 at Adrian Street Baptist Church, Dover.
Mother Mary Cooke was buried at the Adrian Street Baptist church in 1841. Father George Cooke�s death/burial is not found.
