I give And bequeath to my beloved Wife Sarah Copland my best Bed Bedstead and Furniture one Quilt one pair of Blankets one Bolster and two pillows one Bath Stove with shovel poker and Tongs now in my parlor one pair Fine Sheets and one pair Common sheets six walnut Tree chairs in my parlor one Arm Chair with hair bottom one Round Mahogany Tea Table one wainscot four feet Dining Table one two Quart copper Tea Kettle with all my tin ware in Kettles and Saucepans one Silver table Spoon and six Silver Tea Spoons the same Silver Table and Tea Spoons as she my said wife Sarah had before her my said wife Sarah's Marriage to me Item I give and bequeath unto my said wife one pair of Square Silver Shoe Buckles one Chamber pot one wash hand Bason Queens Ware one small Square looking Glass in a Mahogany frame one Square Chest with all the Trunks and Boxes and wearing apparel which she my said wife Sarah had before Marriage to me
Item I give and bequeath to my said Wife Sarah one Quart and one pint Black Jack two Dishes and Twelve plates
Queens ware if so many remaining at the time of my Decease
Item I give and bequeath to my said wife Sarah one tea pot and six Tea cups and six Tea Saucers one Fir Bureau one
Stone Ring and one plain Gold Ring exclusive of her my said wifes wedding Ring
Item I give to my said wife Sarah one Fine Table Cloth and one Common Table Cloth
Item I give and bequeath to my loving Son Stephen Copland all and every my wearing apparel
Item I give and bequeath to my loving Daughter Judith Copland all the Rest and Residue of my Estate and Effects
Goods and Chattels Real an personal whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature and kind the same doth may or
shall Consist of at the time of my Decease but moreover should it so happen that there may not be sufficient Money at
my decease for my decent Interment then it is my Will and Meaning that the Deficiency of the Expense of my said
Interment be paid from the sale of my Watches and Silver Buckles
and I do hereby Constitute and appoint my said Wife Sarah Executrix and my said Son Stephen Executor to this my
Will hereby revoking all former wills by me heretofore made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament

and ninety one Stephn. Copland [seal] signed sealed published and declared by the said testator as and for his last
Will and Testament in the presence of us the [interlining ?] on the 20th inst was made before the signature

This Will was proved at London the 15th Day of January in the Year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety four before the Worshipful Thomas Champion [.....] Doctor of Laws Surrogate of the Right Honourable Sir William Wynne Knight also Doctor of Laws Master keeper of Commisary of the prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of Stephen Copland the Son of the deceased and one of the Executors named in the said will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased having been first sworn duly to administer power being reserved of making the like grant to Sarah Copland Widow the Relict of the said deceased and the other Executor named in the said will when she shall apply for the same.
