Item I gyve & bequeathe to the poore of the paryshe of Elmested tenne shillings to be distributed within one yeare next after my deceasse at the discretion of my executor.
Item I gyve & bequeath unto my son Paull Court Twentye pounds of lawefull monye of England to be paid unto him at his full age of xxviijtie (28) yeares.
Item I gyve & bequeathe unto my daughter Sara Court Tenne pounds to be paid unto her at her full age of xxiiijtie (24) yeares or at the daye of her mariage which shall first happen.
Item I gyve & bequeath unto my daughter Susan Court Tenne pounds to be paid unto her at her full age of xxiiijtie (24) yeares or at the daye of her mariage which shall first happen.
Item I gyve & bequeathe unto my daughter Agnes Court Tenne pounds to be paid unto her at her full age of xxiiijtie yeares or at the daye of her mariage which shall first happen.
Item I gyve unto my daughter Elizabeth Bell the wife of William Bell of Elmested, fortye shillings to be paid unto her within sixe monethes next after my deceasse.
Item I gyve & bequeathe unto Johan my wife thirtye pounds of lawfull monye of England to be paid unto her in Liewe & satisfaction of her dower within twoe monethes next after my deceasse. Provided always, that yf the said Jone my wife doe take, or make any claime or (tytle?) of dower in or to any my lands & Tenements, or doe molest, trouble or impleade my sonnes for her dower in the same lands & Tenements, that then my will & meaning is that this my gyft & bequest of xxx� (�30) shalbe voyd & of none effect, as yf no such gyft had bene made (anything herein conteyned to the contrarye notwithstanding).
Item I gyve & bequeath unto my son Symon Court all that my messuage & Tenement wherein I nowe dwell (called & knowen by the name of Cowles) scituate & being in Elmested aforesaid on the northe side of the waye which leadeth frome Deane Court by the sowth side of the said messuage & Tenement unto Stonestreete, and also all & singuler my lands & Tenements whatsoever lyeng & being on the northside of the said waye, with all & singuler thappurtenances thereto belonging. To have & to hold the said messuage lands & Tenements aforesaid with thappurtenances unto the said Symon his heyres & assignes for ever.
Item I gyve & bequeathe unto my son Robert Court all that my messuage & Tenement wherein Richard Hempsted nowe dwelleth scituate & being in Elmested aforesaid on the sowthe side of the foresaid way which leadeth frome Deane Courte by the northesyde of the said messuage & Tenement towards Stonestreet and also all & singuler my lands & Tenements whatsoever lieng and being on the sowtheside of the said waye with all & singuler thappurtenances thereunto belonging. To have & to hold the said messuage & Tenement & all & singuler the said Lands & Tenements with thappurtenances unto the said Robert his heyres and assignes for ever.
All the Resydewe of my goods & Cattells whatsoever not before bequeathed my debts paid, my funeralls discharged, & legacyes performed I gyve & bequeathe unto my son Symon Court whome I doe make constitute & ordeyne to be my sole executor of this my last will & Testament, And I desire my maister Richard Hardres Esquire to be overseer to see this my last will & Testament performed.
