In the Name of God Amen I Elizabeth Court of Ashford in the County of Kent Widow being sick and weak in Body but of sound and perfect Mind and understanding (God be praised therefore) Do make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament in Manner and form following (that is to say)
Imprimis I recomend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Maker trusting through the Merits of my blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to receive free pardon and Forgiveness of all my Sins and my Body I leave to the Earth from whence it came to receive a Decent and Christian Buryal according to the Discretion of my Executors herein named
And as for the Worldly Estate which God of his Mercy hath lent me I give and Dispose of the same as followeth

Item I give and bequeath unto my four Cozens John, Thomas, Dorothy and Frances Barber and their Heirs for ever equally to be Divided All that my Messuage or Tenement Barn Stable and all other Outhouses and Lands thereunto belonging with all Singular the appurtences situate lying and being in the Parish of Eastchurch in the Island of Sheppey in the said County and now or late in the tenure or occupation of John Oast or his Assignes or elsewhere in the said County of Kent

Item I give and bequeath unto my said Cozens or Neeces Dorothy and Frances Barber all my wearing apparell of what nature or Kind soever equally to be Divided between them
Item I give and bequeath unto my said Niece Dorothy Barber my Ring with four Diamonds in it

Item All other my Rings Silver Plate Household Stuffe ready Moneys Goods Chattells Household Stuffe and Implemts of Household Stuffe and other my Personall Estate I give and bequeath after my Debts Legacies Funeral Expences the Charges of Proving this my Will and other incident Charges shall be paid and Discharged unto my said Nephews and Neices John, Thomas, Dorothy and Frances Barber equally to be Divided between them as soon as may be after my Decease

Item I make and Ordain my two Cozens Thomas and Dorothy Barber Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I the said Elizabeth Court have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this Eleventh Day of July in the Tenth year of the Reigne of our Sovereign Lord George now King of Great Britain etc. Annoq Domini 1724
