I wyll, gyve & bequeath to Agnes Coveney my mother, for her further & better maintenance & keapynge 40 shyllings a yeare of lawfull money of England durynge her naturall lyefe to be levied & payde owte of all those my landes sett lyenge & beinge within the paryshe of Bonyngton
I wyll gyve & bequeath to John Coveney my eldest sonne, my Lease, Interest & terme of yeares which I have or shall have yet to come from the Worshipfull Nycholas Bonde doctor of Devynytye & the Fellowes of St Mary Magdalens Colledge in Oxon, & the Indenture, Lease & wryttynge concerninge the same of all those lands with theyr appurtenances sett, lyenge & beinge within the parishes of Olde Romney, Newe Romney, Ivechurche and Snargate within the County of Kente commonlye called Spyttell lands & the Ryghte & interest of Renewynge & contynuynge further of the same, when & so often as he shall seme good
I wyll, gyve & bequeath to Henrye Coveney my sonne, my Lease, Interest & terme of yeares which I have & Inyoye of & in the manner of Combe, Fanscombe & Grove sett, lyenge & beinge within the parishes of Hastyngligh, Wye & Crondall with all the howses and Landes thereunto belonginge & apperteynynge which I holde of the Hospytall of St James in Sowthworke & also the lease, Indenture & Wryttyngs concerninge the same & the Righte of Renewynge & contynuynge further of the same, to be had & holden to hym the sayde Henry my sonne, hys executors and assigns at the feast of St Mychaell tharchangell next after my decease
I wyll, gyve & bequeath to Elizabeth Coveney, my welbeloved wyef, all those my landes with theyr appurtenances which I have to me & to my heyres, sett lying & beinge within the paryshe of Bonington aforesaid to be had & holden to her the sayd Elizabeth my wyef & to her assignes, durynge the hole terme of her naturall lyef, for & toward the education & bringing upp of my two youngest children, she doynge no stypp nor wast in & uppon the premysses
I wyll gyve & bequeath to Roger Coveney, my youngest sonne �100 of lawfull money of England to be payde unto hym when he shall be of the age of twentye & one yeares and also all those my landes in Bonyngton aforesayde ymedyatlye after the decease of Elizabeth my wyef, his mother To be had & holden to hym the sayde Roger Coveney my sonne & to his heyres for ever
I gyve and bequeath to Elizabeth Coveney my youngest daughter �100 to be payd to her at
the age of 21 or day of her marryage which shall first happen, leavynge her to her mothers
further consyderatyon for she be ruled by her
I wyll, gyve & bequeath to Marye Coveney my syster towards her maintenance, �3 a yeare,
halfe yearely to be payd to her
The Resydewe of all other my moveable goods, cattalls & dettes whatsoever yt be,not before in thyse my wyll given, wylled & bequeathed, I wyll, gyve & bequeath them all wholly & solelye to the aforenamed Elizabeth Coveney my welbeloved wyef to her only & proper use soe that she do relynquyshe & release one obligation made between her & me before our marryage. She payenge my dettes and legacyes & seynge this my wyll trulye and faythfullye performed & fulfilled & seynge my children well brought upp as I trust she wyll which sayde Elizabeth my wyef I doe ordeyne & make the sole & only Executrix of thys my last wyll & Testament
Yf Elizabeth my wife doe marrye at any tyme after my decease before my sayd two sonnes John & Henrye Coveney shall be of theyr severall age or ages of one & twentye yeares, then I wyll & appoynte by this my presente wyll my brother Edwarde Coveney to have the lettynge & settynge of theyr sayd lease or leases to theyr most profytt & advantage & to receave those profyttes of my sayde wife which shall be due to them
