Item I bequeath to my son Ambrose and my daughter Elizabeth equally between them All that my Moyety of a certain Farme and Lands known by the name of Ben=over in the parish of Yalding as also all my goods and Chattells and personal estate whatsoever which shall remain clear after the marriage Bond which I gave to my dear and Loving Wife, shall be fully and Justly satisfied, and after my just debts shall be paid and my Funeral expences and the Probate of this my last Will and Testament shall be discharged
And I appoint and ordain my Father in law Richard Stevens to be the Executor of this my last Will and Testament and do make it my request to him that he will do the part of a Father and a Grandfather to my Wife and Children in taking care of their affairs
And I likewise appoint Joshua Strother, Clerk, Vicar of Brenchley and John Hickmott of the said parish, Yeoman, to be overseers and Trustees of this my last Will and Testament and to each of them I give the summe of 50 shillings which I desire them to accept as a small acknowledgement for their accepting the Office of seeing this my Will executed and fulfilled according to my true meaning and intention therein
