In the name of God Amen the 6th day of December in the year of our Lord god one thousand five hundred nintie five. I Thomas Croft in the parish of (Sellendge struck) Sellinge in the Countie of Kent batcherler beinge sick in bodie but in good and perfect remembrennce thankes be to Almightie god doe make & declare this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge. ffirst I give my soul unto Almightie god and my hope is to be saved by the merite of 'Chris'tes passion and my bodie to be buried in the churchyard of Sellinge.
Item I will to the poore of Sellhinge five shillings.
Item will to the poore of Sheldwich five shillings.

Item I will to June Bartlet twentie shillings and my chest?.
Item I will to Katherine Croft my sister five pounds.
Item I will to Joane Croft my sister five pounds.
Item I will to (Richard struck) Elizabeth Rayner my dame? twentie shillings.
Item I will to Samuel Croft my brother three pounds.
Item I will to Richard Croft my brother fifteen pounds.
Item I will to Michaell Porter my best doublet and briches and sherte and bands?
I will to Robert Hubble two payre of breeches one jerkin.
Item I will to 'Christ'ofer Shrubsole my two lambes.

To this my last will and testament I do make and ordaine my master Simon Rayner my full and sole executor and he to paye my legacies when the monie is come to his hands which will be at St Michaell the Arkangel next after the date hereof and that which remaynethe my debts and funnerall discharged to be by him distributed as he shall thank god. Witnesses at the makeinge hereof
