In the name of God Amen the fower and twentith [24th] daie of December in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand sixe hundred twentie and three
I Thomas Crundwell of the parishe of Penshurst in the Countie of Kent senior doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme following
First I give and bequeath my Soule into the handes of Almightie God my onlie creator and unto Jesus Christ my onlie savioure and redeemer by whose meritts death and passion I hope to bee saved And my bodie to bee buried in the Churchyard of Penshurst aforesaid

Imprimis I give and bequeath unto Johan Crundwell my true and naturall wife one feather bedd in the little chamber two blanketts, one Covering, two boulsters, fowre payre of Sheetes, one box with feete, a little bourded chest, and three pewter dishes

Item I give unto Johane Crundwell my wife the whole use and profit of all my tenement and landes and my moveable goods during the space of two yeares in consideration that Johane Crundwell my wife shall keepe bringe upp and mainteyne Johane Crundwell my daughter duringe the aforesaid tearme of two yeares, for the profit and use of theis my moveable goodes and tenement

Item I will alsoe that Johane Crundwell my wife at the end of the aforenamed two yeares after my decease shall yeeld and leave upp all my moveable goodes cattell and chattell and my tenement and landes with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging leaving them in as good and perfect estate as shee doth find it at my departure unto Johane Crundwell my daughter to her onlie use forever (my debtes paid and funerall expences to bee allowed unto her out of theis my moveable goodes

Item I give and bequeath unto Johane Crundwell my wife twentie shillings of good and lawfull Englishe money yearelie to bee payed unto her during her naturall life by mine executrix when the full end of the two yeares before rehearsed shalbee accomplished and ended

Item I doe constitute and appointe Johane Crundwell my daughter to bee my full sole and whole executrix of this my last will and testament

This is the last will and testament of mee Thomas Crundwell of the parishe of Penshurst in the Countie of Kent concerning my tenement and landes set being and lying in Penshurst aforesaid

Item I give and bequeath my whole tenement barne orchard garden and hemplat, and all my landes togeather with all thapptenncs [the appurtenances] thereunto belonging unto Johan Crundwell my daughter and to her heires forever

Item I do constitute and apointe Thomas Reevers and John Bridginne? to bee my overseers of this my last will and testament to see it performed

In Witnes whereof I have set to my hand and seale (X) Thomas Crundwell his marke
In the presence of us Thomas Rivers John Budgen and Sammell Halfhide
