blanekett[,] one pillowe, and all her christeninge Lynnen[,] one payre of streaken
sheets and one odd sheete wch was her the sayd Margaret Culmers mothers, one

There beinge present together and wytnesses of the guifts
or legacies given as above sayd to the sayd Anne Culmer the abovenamed John Hall
and Margaret Culmer widdow; And there beinge present together at the utteringe of
the last speeches touchinge the nominacon of the said John Hall and Gregorie Philpot
to be gardians to her children and they to have the educacon of them and the
governemt & guidance of them and theyre porcons the said Margaret Culmer and
Elizabeth Russell wife of Thomas Russell of St. Peters aforesaid.

Although an entry was not found in the parish register, Margaret Nethersole is supposed to have been married by licence to fisherman Valentine Culmer at St Mary’s Sandwich on 13 March 1607/08. Valentine Culmer predeceased her. The 1631 probate account of the estate of Margaret Nethersole Culmer, DCb/PRC2/31/18, mentions that she was the executrix of her late husband’s will and that she had not completed the administration of his estate at the time of her own death in early December 1627. The date and place of her burial have not been found.
