In the name of God Amen that I William Curling of the p[a]rish of St. Lawrance in the Ile of Thennett and county of Kent, Malster Being sicke in Body but pfet [perfect] in memory (praised be God) Doe make and ordaine this my Last will and Testament in manner and forme following (that is to saye)
I comend my Soule to the protection and hands of Allmightie God hopeing to be saved by the Merritts of Jesus Crist my Redeemer and no other way Allsoe my Body I Committ to the ground from whenc(e) itt came to be Buried in the Churchyard of St. Lawrance aforesaid acording to the discretion of my Executors John Curling the Elder & John Curling my said Brother Liveing in the aforesaid Island and prish Yeoman, my Sole and whole Executors

Item my Will and Testament is to give and bequeath unto my eldest Sonne John Curling thirty pounds to be paid him att one and twentyth yeares of adges
Item my will is to give unto my Sonne William Curling thirty pound to be paid him att one and twentesh yeares of adges
Item my Will and Testament is to give and bequeath unto my Sonne Stephen Curling thirty pound to be paid him att one and twenteth yeares of adges
Item my Will and true meani[n]g is to give and bequeath unto my Sonne Gregorye Curling Thirty pounds to be paid him att one and twenteth yeares of adges
Item I doe give and bequeath unto my Sonne Thomas Curling Thirty pound to be paid him att one and twenteth yeares of his adge

Allsoe my Will and Testament is that yf itt doe please God to take A life or lifes of any of my said Sonnes before mentioned before they come to one and twenteth yeares of age, my true mean[in]g is that theyr portions that dye before shall be Equally devyded Among them that Live by Even portion

Item my Will is to give unto (my) Executors twenty shillings A peece presently after my Decease and my said Executors John Curling the Elder and John Curling my said Brother to be Sole and Whole Executors as afore Mentioned
I alsoe give unto the poore of the prish of St. Lawrance ten shillings to be paid within a month after my Decease

My Will and Testament is all and singuler my said Goods moveables or immoveable Chattells or what is Remay[n]ing and besydes the aforesaid Legaces mentioned is for and Toward the neamelsying? and Bringing upp of all and singuler my said Sonnes mentioned and Ordered By my said Executors att their Discretions around being truly maid and their legacies to be Equally A Bated if need shall Require

And unto this my Last Will and Testament I Doe putt and sett my hand and Seale as my true atte(sted) Deed Dated The Eleaventh Day of August Anno Domi 1646
