Item I will unto Mr. Robert Marriott our? Minister for preaching my funerall sermon if hee be then
present twentie shillings, if not to him that shall performe it, to be paid predentlie by mine executor
hereafter mentioned.
I will and bequeath unto the poore people of Lenham aforesaid fortie shillings within one month to be
paid unto them by mine executor, at his discretion next after my decease.
I will unto Abraham Allen and Robert Allen the two sonnes of my brother John Allen twentie shillings a peice to either of them.
I will unto Patience the wife of George Cowlegate theire sister tenne shillings.
I will likewise unto Elizabeth & Anne Allen, her other two sisters the daughters of my brother John Allen
tenne shillings a peice, to either of them.
Item I will and bequeath unto Elizabeth Allen the daughter of my brother Robert Allen deceased the summe of five pownds.
I will to Thomas Stubbes of Ottrinden tenne shillings.
I will to my maide servant that shalbe with mee at my decease five shillings.
Item I will and bequeath unto Elizabeth the daughter of my sonne Allen Stephens foure paire of sheetes, and one holland sheete, one douzen of napkins, one paire of pillowecoates, one long towell, and halfe a douzen of pewter.
Item I will also unto Patience Stephens her sister the second daughter of the said Allen Stephens foure paire of sheetes, and one long tablecloth, one douzen of napkins, one paire of pillowcoates, one long towell, and halfe a douzen of pewter.
I will unto Christopher the sonne of Robert Stonehouse, and unto Thomas the sonne of James Bunce my
two Godsonnes five shillings a peice to either of them.
I will unto everie one of my Godchildren unnominated twelve pence a peice to either of them being demanded.
All w�ch severall sommes of money I will to be paid by mine Executor within one whole yeare next after
my decease, except those whose tymes of paym�t are expressed before.
The rest of all my goods & moveables, my debts and legacies being paid and my funerall expences by
him discharged, I wholie will and bequeath unto Allen Stephens my sonne whome I doe ordeine and
make my sole Executor of this my last Will and testament hee onelie to have the use of all my foresaid
goods and moveables during the Continueance of this his naturall life,
and after his decease, my will and meaning is that the said goods and moveables shall remaine and
continue wholie to his children which are then surviving equallie to be imparted and devided amongst them.
And my will and desire is that Robert Allen sonne of my brother John Allen be overseer of this my last will and testament for the p�forming and establishing thereof, and I bequeath to him for his labour in that behalfe the summe of twentie shillings to be paid unto him by mine executor w�thin one whole yeare next after my decease as aforesaid.
This is the last will and testam�t of me the said Elizabeth Dale, And I utterlie revoke and adnull everie other former wills, legacies, bequeasts, executors, and overseers, by mee in any wise before this tyme named willed and bequeathed.
In witnes whereof I have heereunto sett my hand and seale and published it as my last will & testament
in the p�sents of the witnesses heere under named.
