Item I give and bequeathe to the poore people of the pishe of Marden two bus of wheat to be baked into bread and bestowed by mine executor and overseer at their discretion.
Item my will and mind is that Susan my wife shalbe kept and pvided for by my son John. And that he the sayde John my sonne shall not only keepe the sayd Susan my wife providing for her all tymes .... during the terme of her naturall life, but shall also paye unto the sayde Susan my wife ...... quarter during all the sayde term vjs and viijd of good and lawfull money of England.
Provided notwithstanding and my will is that yf the sayde Susan my wife do not like to be kept & provided for by the sayde John my sonne, that then the sayde John shall give and paye unto her foure pounds by the yeare of good and lawfull monie of England, Quarterly to be pd by equall portions during the terme of her naturall lyfe.
Item I give and bequeathe unto Tabitha my daughter tenn pounds of good and lawfull monie of England, to
be pd unto her by mine executor within one whole yeare next after my decease.
Item I give and bequeathe unto Mildred my daughter tenn pounds of good and lawfull monye of England,
To be payed likewise unto her within one whole yeare nexte after my decease by mine executor.
Item I give and bequeathe unto Alice my daughter xxs of good and lawfull monie of England to be payed
within two whole yeares next after my decease.
All the residue of my goods chattelles and leases unbequeathed I give and bequeathe unto John Danne my sonne for the payment of my debts and legacies, discharge of my funerall and other dutyes whome I ordeine sole executor of this my last will and Testament.
Provided also that yf John Dann my sonne shall happen to decease either maryed or unmaryed before the
sayde Susan my wife then my will is that twentye pounds of good and lawfull monie of England of
the sayde good ..... shalbe repayed unto Susan my wife by the heires executors or assigns of
the sayde John Danne my sonne within one whole yeare next after his decease.
And yf it shall happen the sayde Susan my wife to decease within the sayde yeare the monie
being unpayde, then my will is that the sd somme shall remayne and be payed unto my two
daughters Tabitha and Mildred equallye to be devided between them.
Provided further and my will is that yf anie of my two daughters Tabitha or Mildred happen to decease
before the payment of the somme to them bequeathed then out of them to be the others heire.
Item I appointe for overseers to this my last will and Testament John Stephens and William
Mason.
