first I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Dann my eldest daughter the summe of fifteen poundes of good and lawfull money of England to be paid unto her by my executrix herunder named when my daughter Elizabeth shall accomplish and be of the full age of one and twenty yeares
Also I give and bequeath unto my two eldest sonns John Dann and Thomas Dann and to either of them the summe of five poundes a peice of lawfull money of England to be given and paid by my executrix to put either of them apprentice And also the like summe of five poundes a peice of the lawfull English mony to be paid to either of my said sonns John Dann and Thomas Dann respectively when they shall accomplish their severall and respective ages of one and twenty yeares
Also I give to my two daughters Jane and Anne and to either of them Ten poundes a peice of lawfull English money to be paid to either of them when they shall accomplish their severall and respective ages of one and twenty yeares
Also all other my goods and chattells whatsoever not before bequeathed in this my present will (my debts legacies and funerall expences being paid and discharged) I wholly give and bequeath unto Anne my wife whom I make ordaine and appointe to be my full whole and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament provided allwayes and it is my will and mind that the said Anne my wife and executrix shall with the said rest and residue of my goods and chattells educate and bring up my three youngest children Stephen Dann Samuell Dann and Mary Dann and after they are brought up shall give and pay unto them such parts or portions out of the surplusage which shall be left of my estate after they are brought upp which she can well spare, and shall pay the said parts and portions to every of them respectively when they shall be of their severall and respective ages of one and twenty yeares
And lastly I do hereby name and appointe my loving freind and neighbour Christopher
Fullager of Smarden to be overseer of this my will and do desire and request him to
advise and be assistant to my said Executrix in and about the performance of this my
will and all matters and cases relateing thereunto In witness whereof I have hereunto
sett my hand and seale dated the five and twentieth day of the moneth commonly called
January in the yeare of our Lord one thousand six hundred sixty and nine 1669 Thomas
