That for the love and affection which I have and beare unto Frances, the wife of Leonard Clarke, one of the Serjeantes att Mace of the towne of Faversham, and in thankfullness for her kindness to me all along, and especially in my late long sickness, I doe hereby give and bequeath unto her, the said Frances Clarke, my debt of Sixteene pounds due to me of my Annuitie out of the house, late Mr Hambletones, and also my chest of linnen, three feather bedes and boulsteres, bedstedles, and all other my goods and Ch[att]elles, weareing cloathes, both linnen and woollen, housholdstuff and Implements of houskeeping whatsoever,
And I doe hereby make, nominate, declare and appointe my said loveing freind Frances
Clarke full and sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament,
And doe hereby revoake all former willes by me made.

[This abovewritten will, of Ann Day, late of Faversham in the Archdeaconry of Canterbury, widow, deceased, Was proved on the twenty fifth day of February in the year of our Lord, according to etc, 1691, Before Master John Stocker, Clerk, lawful surrogate of the worshipful Thomas Bouchier, Doctor of Laws, lawfully deputed Official of the Reverend Lord Archdeacon of Canterbury, By the oath of Frances, the wife of Leonard Clarke, the executrix named in the same will, And approved in respect thereof etc, And [administration of the goods] of whom etc was committed to the aforenamed executrix, she having been first sworn, on [God�s] holy etc. Saving the right of anyone whomsoever.]
