In the name of God amen the sixteenth day of March in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand Six hundred forty and two
I Henry Deering of the parish of Pluckley in the County of Kent being of perfect health of body and minde (praised be God) doe make this my last will and testament in manner and fourme following (that is to say)
First and principally I comend my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my Creator trusting and beleeving to have Salvation for the merritts death and passion of Jesus Christ my Saviour only

Item I give and bequeath to my brother Anthony Deering tenn pounds yearly to be paid to him during his naturall life by my Executor
Item I give unto my brother Charles Deering all my goods and all my lands lying in Welsborough [Willesborough] and Sevington or elsewhere in the County of Kent to him and his heires for ever

Item I make my brother Charles Deering sole Executor of this my last will and testament
I desire Sr William Brockman to be directing? to my executor Henry Deering
upon the eighteenth of Aprill one thousand six hundred forty foure Sealed and subscribed in the presence of
