In the name of God Amen the last will and testam't of mee Frances Deeringe the relict widdow of ye Right Honbl Sr Anthony Deeringe late of Pluckley deceased made in ye time of sound & perfect memory (I prayse my God for it) is in manner and forme followinge
First I Comitt my Soul unto the hands of my deare & blessed God & through Jesue Christ my most mercifull father to whose most glorious prsence for the all sufficient merits of my bedside sufferings & full satisfaction for my sinnes I have a most sure and certaine hope to come My body I desire may be buried by my deare husband wthout more charge than necessity requires

Item I give to Sir Edward Deeringe Barronett my grandchild my great fine Chest given mee by my sonne Robt. Deeringe
Item I give to ye said Sir. Edw. Deeringe one peice of gold stamped wth the Impresse of Queene Elisabeth in Valeue two & twenty shillings both which I will to bee delivered to him ye sd. Barronett wthin six weekes next after my decease

Item I give to my sone Anthony Deeringe one peice of gold in Valeue eleven shillings
To my sone Charles Deeringe the like peice of gold in Valeue eleven shillings
To my daughter Margarett ye Lady Wroth one peice of gold in valeue eleven shillings
Every of ye said legacie to bee delivered to the said persons wthin one moneth after my decease by my executrix hereafter named

As allso all other papers not expressed are sealed up in the box wth this my will, I will shall bee delivered to the severall persons whose names are Written there Uppon by my said Executrix wthin one moneth after my decease

All the rest of my goods Chattells moveables whatsoever (all my debts Legacies & Funerall expences beinge discharged) I give & bequeath to Frances my daughter, wife of Nicholas Bethell gent.
And I doe by these prsent Constitute & appoynet the said Frances my daughter the full & sole Executrix of this my last will & testamt

And I doe farther by these prsents revoke and make voyd all other wills & testamts. whatsoever by mee formerly at any time made declaring these prsents to bee of Conscience my last will & Testamts
Under my hand & Seale this ninth day of September in ye yeare of or [our] Lord one thousand six hundred Fifty & three

This Will was proved att London before the Judges for probate of wills and granting Administracons lawfully authorised the fourth day of December in the yeare of our Lord God accordinge to the Computation of the Church of England one thousand six hundred Fiftye and seaven By the oath of Frances Bethell als [alias] Deeringe the daughter and sole executrix named in the said will To whome Administration of all and singular the goodes Chattles and debts of the said deceased was Comitted, Shee being first Sworne by Comission trulye to Administer the same.

Sir Anthony Dering was buried at Pluckley 18 Mar 1635/6
Dame Frances Dering the Lady of Sr Anthony Dering was buried 9 Nov 1657 at Pluckley
Sir Peter Wroth Kte. & Margarett Dering daughter of Sr Anthony Deryng Knt marryed by Licence Feb 28 1624/5 at Pluckley.
