This is the last Will and Testament of me Jane De Lasaux of the City of Canterbury Spinster I being of sound mind Memory and Understanding First I commend my Soul to Almighty God my Creator And my body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors hereafter named And as to my Worldly Estate I dispose of the same as follows, that is to say,

I give and devise all my Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments and parts and shares and all other my real Estate whatsoever and wheresoever with the Appurts unto and to the use of my Niece Elizabeth Farmer Spinster her heirs and Assigns for ever

Also I give and bequeath unto her my said Niece Elizabeth Farmer the sum of One thousand Pounds of lawful Money currant in Great Britain
Also I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Thomas Thorpe Delasaux the Sum of Eight hundred Pounds of like lawful money
Also I give and bequeath unto James Stock Simmonds Son of my Niece Elizabeth Simmonds Widow the sum of fifty pounds of like lawful money
And I direct that the said legacies shall be paid to the legatees respectively at the end of twelve calendar months next after my decease

Also I give and bequeath the sum of One thousand and six hundred pounds three and a half per Centum reduced Annuities Part of my Capital Stock now standing in my name in the books kept at the bank of England unto my said Niece Elizabeth Farmer and my good friend William Henry Furley of the said City of Canterbury Gentleman Upon trust that they the said Elizabeth Farmer and William Henry Furley and the Survivor of them or the Executors and Admors of such Survivor do and shall stand possessed thereof In trust
for all and every the Children of my said Nephew Thomas Thorpe Delasaux equally to be divided between them if more than one and if but one then for such only child as and when he she or they shall attain the age of twenty one years and for the children of such of them as shall die leaving issue such issue taking equally between them (if more than one) only their respective parents� share as and when such issue shall respectively that age the Interest of the Apparent share of such children or issue respectively to be applied towards their respective maintenance and education at the discretion of my Trustees for the time being
And if any one of more of the Children of my said Nephew Thomas Thorpe Delasaux shall die under the age of twenty one years without leaving any issue or leaving such all such issue shall die under that age Then as to the share or respective shares of him her or them so dying In trust for the Survivors or Survivor of such children equally to be divided between such Survivors if more than one and for the Children of such of them as shall be then dead such issue taking only their respective parents� share or shares which accumulated share or shares shall be subject to the like benefit of Survivorship

Also I give and bequeath to the said William Henry Furley the sum of Fifty pounds of lawful Money current in Great Britain as an acknowledgement for his care and trouble in the execution of this my Will and of the trusts hereby reposed in him to be paid to or retained by him at the end of twelve Calendar Months next after my decease

And as to all the Residue and Remainder of my Monies Securities for money Household furniture Plate Linen China Goods Chattels and Personal Estate and Effects of what nature or kind soever I shall die possessed of or have any right or power whatever to dispose of (after and subject to the Payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary Expences)I give and bequeath the same and every part to my said Niece Elizabeth Farmer to and for her own absolute use and benefit

And I Nominate and appoint my said Niece Elizabeth Farmer and the said William Henry Furley Executors of this my Will
And I declare that my said Trustees and Executors shall be charged and chargeable respectively for such monies only as they shall respectively actually receive by virtue of the trusts hereby in them reposed and not answerable or accountable for each other or for involuntary losses And also that it shall and may be lawful for them by and out of the Monies which shall come to their hands to retain to and reimburse themselves all Costs Charges damages and expences which they may be at or sustain in or about the aforesaid trusts or in relation thereto

And I hereby revoke all former Wills and testamentary Dispositions by me made
In Witness whereof I the said Jane Delasaux the testatrix have to the first two of these three sheets of paper which together contain my Will set my hand and to this third and last sheet thereof my hand and seal this first day of November in the Year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and thirty six _ Jane De Lasaux
