Will of Thomas a'Dene

of Cranbrook, Kent

First I will that Ralf Wynstanley of Cranbrook have my two houses and two gardens with the appertuances for 16th(?) above(?) 6s 8d to me paid before except I will that Johane my wife have room and apartment in my ? all the term of her life.

Also I will that immediately after my decease that the said Ralf Wynstanley pay to my Executors in ? of payment for my said houses and gardens with ? 6 ? and then I will that my ? deliver a ? ? unto the said Ralf Wynstanley of and in my said two houses and two gardens with the appertuances to him and to his heirs for ever.

Also I will that the said Ralf Wynstanley his heirs or assigns pay yearly to my Executors or their assigns 40s(?) till the sum of £12 be fully content and paid.

Also I will that my Executors or their assigns pay to each of my children being alive of the said money each of them 13s 8d.
Item to Margery A’Dene widow of Stephen A’Dene and to their children 13s 8d.
Item I will that my said Executors or their assigns spend in mending of the ? of 5s.
Also I will that John A’Dene my son have my house with all the ? and the ? thereto belonging for ever.
