my body to be buried in the churchyard of Lympne
I will that Henry Coll shall have my lande lying in Estflete lying in parish of Westhithe ?w’thappurt’ences that I have pertaining to the said lands containing by estimation XVj acres and a half for LXXXX£ … in parte of paymente of debts as I owe him of his fathers bequests
& the residue of such debts as I owe him I will shall rise owte of my stock of bullocks and shepe to be praised as they worthe the whiche stocke I will shall remain in my brother Thomas Whites lands until the Henrye Collie comethe to theage appointed by his fathers laste will to be deducted to the said Thomas at the feaste of Sainte George nexte ensuynge the date hereof … 40 poundes of lawfull money of England for the beholf of Margarett Collye and Mildred Collie the daughters of Henry Collie sum tyme of Lympe … & six poundes 13s Katherin Collie Rob’te Collies daughter ... for Thomas Colle like William Collies sonne and also other … Thomas Colly William Collye thelders sonne

I bequeathe to Edmund my sonne £40 at his 24th year of his age
I will that my brother Henry shall put my said sonne to some occupation at XVth years of his age
To Joane Wastell my maide servant ?XLs to be paid to her when she hath need of it Allso I bequeathe to her my wiff’s best frocke & her best veill peticote?
I bequeathe to Alice Marshall Sumtime my servant my wyves peticote that she wore in her sicknes
I bequeath to Henrye Denne my brother all my corne in my barne my ij hoggs powltrie bakon chest butter & other provision of household to fund my children 10 yeres after my decesse I bequeath to the said Henry my s??all powte of haye.

The residew of any goods unbequeathed yf there be anye I will to be divieded equallie betwyxte my children and I will theone of them to be others heir

This is the last will of me Michaell Denne aforesaid concernynge all my houses and lands which I have in the parishes of Lympne and Westhithe or ells_where in the countie of Kente

First I will that my brother Henrye Denne shall have the profitte & occupyinge of all houses and landes aforesaid saving onlie my landes lyinge in Estfleete whiche I give to Henry Collie as is above mencyoned 10 years after my decesse fully to be completed & funded paying to Henry my sonne yearlie bye the space of 5 years £4 of good & lawfull money of England funding also myne other children honestlie the said 10 yeres kepinge my houses well repaired paying the lordes rentes paying allso the ?Skortes when they channce and nether streping nor wasting anye of my tymber but onlie for the repacons of my said houses

And when the said 10 yeres be expired Then I bequeathe the houses that I dwellin with all my lands above the hill and under the hill with 10 acres of land ajoyning to the hill the hole rentes by estimacon 46 acres more or lesse with thappurtenances unto Henrye my sonne and to the heires of his bodie lawfully begotton Then I will for said house and lands with theappurtennces also shall remayne [?hole in paper] to my other children living equallie to be [divide]d betwxte them

Item When the said [hole in paper] [ten]ne yeres be expired then I bequeathe to Valentyne my sonne 11 acres of mershe and lyinge with’n the parishe of Lympne joyninge to the Kinges highwaye South to the Abbotts Corte to him & his heires for ever Further more when the 5 said 10 yeres be expired then I bequeathe my 10 acres of mershe within lying in the parishe of Westhithe within the Liberties of the Towne and Port of Hith to Humfraye my sonne and to his heires for ever

Finallie I bequeathe my house and Land lyinge and beinge in Cortoppe Strete to Thomas Brownynge that dwelleth in it and to his heirs for ever

Witnesses present at the makinge of this will Thomas Carden, Vicar of Elham, John Callow and William Brownyng the younger
