In the name of God Amen, the eighteenth day of March Anno 1611, and in the nineth year of the reign of our Almighty Lord James, by the grant of God, King of England, France and Ireland, Defender of the Faith and of his reign of ...... the five and forfeit? I Henrie Denne of the parish of Margaret in in the County of London, merchant, being of perfect mind and memory, thanks be therefore given unto Almight God, calling to mind the uncertain state of their life have .... of the .... manner of the same altogether ........ I therefore make my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say:
First and principally, I bequeath my Soul unto the hands of Almighty God not .... but ... the .... of the state and passion of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to have free remission and forgiveness of all my sinnes and to grant the same placed amongst the .... of .... Angels in his glamorous kingdom, while he hath prepared for his .... before the foundations of the World .... land. First I give and bequeath unto the poor of the parish of Kingstone in the County of Kent, the sum of fortie shillings of lawful money of England to be distributed amongst them all the .... according to the same ....
Item, I give and bequeath unto the fellows of All Soules College in .... the sum of five pounds of lawful money of England to buy them books with all.
Item, I give and bequeath unto .... Denne minister of the parish of St. Bennett in In London the sum of five pounds of lawful money of England.

Item, I give and bequeath unto Thomas Denne sonne of William Denne of Kingstone in the Countie of Kent aforesaid, Gentleman, the sum of five pounds of lawful money of England.
Item, I give and bequeath unto William Denne sonne of the said William Denne my brother and Elizabeth Denne and Marie Denne daughters of the said William Denne my brother, the sum of ten pounds of lawful money of England a piece.
Item, I give and bequeath unto my brother in law William Denn of Bishopsbourne in the Countie of Kent aforesaid, yeoman, the sum of fiftie pounds of lawful money of England.
Item, I give and bequeath unto John Denne sonne of the said William Denn my brother in law, the sum of five pounds of lawful money of England.
Item, I give and bequeath unto David Denne, Margaret Denne and Anne Denne children of the said William Denne my brother in law, the sum of ten pounds of lawful money of England, a piece.
Item, I give and bequeath unto Vincent Denne, Walter Denne, Johane Denne, .... Denne, Anne Denne and Elizabeth Denne children of John Denne late of the city of Canterbury, esquire, deceased, the sum of five pounds of lawful money of England a piece to be paid unto .... and of them their personal ages of twentie and one years or at their personal marriages, which shall first and next happen.

I give and bequeath unto John Dixon of Chilham in the Countie of Kent, yeoman, and to Margaret his wife the sum of twentie pounds of lawful money of England.
Item, I give and bequeath unto Anne Asinn wife of Henrie Sainn of the said citie of Canterbury, ...., the sum of twentie pounds of lawful Money of England equally between them to be divided.
Item, I give and bequeath unto Vincent Nethersole, Elizabeth Nethersole, Marie Nethersole, and Jane Nethersole children of Elizabeth Nethersole of Womenswold in the Countie of Kent, widow, the sum of fortie shillings of lawful money of England a piece.
Item, I give and bequeath to Irene Foxall daughter of Thomas Foxall, citizen and .... of London the sum of eight pounds of lawful money of England to buy her a dozen of silver spoons to be paid her within one year next after my decease.
Item, I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Foxall, Anne Foxall, and Margaret Foxall the three youngest children of the said Thomas Foxall the sum of three pounds of lawful money of England a piece to buy them each a .... of silver spoons apiece to be paid them within one year next after my decease.
Item, I give and bequeath unto Susan Marchsmith now .... with the said Thomas Foxall the sum of twentie pounds of lawful money of England to be paid unto her within one year next after my decease.
Item, I give and bequeath unto the said Thomas Foxall the sum of five pounds of lawful money of England.
Item, I give and bequeath unto Edward Samuel, citizen and .... of London the sum of five pounds of lawful money of England.

Item, unto my said brother William Denne of Kingstone aforesaid, gent, shall will and .... pay or .... to be paid the several legacies in and by this my last will and testament given and bequeathed them and not afterwards. I give and bequeath unto my said brother William Denne of Kingstone aforesaid gent, and to his heirs and assigns forever all and singular my messuages, lands, tenements, and hereditaments within the said Countie of Kent or also where within the realm of England, and then also I make and ordain my said brother William Denne of Kingstone aforesaid gent, the sole and Executor of this my last will and testament provided always that if my estate in goods, chattels, lands, tenements and hereditaments shall not be sufficient to pay all said legacies either bequeathed.

Item, I will that ..... be paid .... the fist as my estate in goods, chattels, messuages, land, tenements and hereditaments shall .... unto according to the proportion of his legacy .... and my will and meaning is that also my said brother William Denne of Kingstone aforesaid gent, shall .... this my last will and testament or to ..... legacies herein bequeathed .... as my said goods, chattels, lands, tenements and hereditaments shall extend unto, then and not otherwise.

I give and bequeath all and singular my said lands, tenements and hereditaments within the realm of England unto my said brother in law William Denne of Bishopsbourne aforesaid yeoman, his heirs and assigns forever, he or they paying the legacies by this my last will and testament bequeathed or as my said goods, chattels, lands, tenements, and hereditaments shall extend unto. And form and not afterwards I make and ordain my said brother in law William Denne of Bishopsbourne aforesaid yeoman the sole and only executor of this my Last Will and Testament is my will and meaning my said lands, tenements and hereditaments shall charge with the payment of the legacies by this my last will and testament given and bequeathed.

Item, I do hereby make and ordain the said Thomas Foxall and Edward Sainn overseers of his my .... last will and testament. And I do hereby .... revoke and .... all and every other former testaments, wills, legacies bequeathed, executors and overseers by my in any .... before this by me named, willed and bequeathed .... this for my last will and testament in volumes whereof I the above named Henrie Denne have unto this my Last Will and Testament ... with this sheet ... sheets of written paper set my hand and seal the days and years first above written.
