Item I give and bequeath unto the poor dwellers of Ickham aforesaid four pounds of lawful money of England and unto Wingham Wickhambreaux and Littlebourne to either of them 40s apiece for to be paid unto them within ten days after my death by the help of the officer ? being for the poor in the said several places.
Item I give and bequeath unto William Denn my son and unto Mary Denn his wife and unto either of them one piece of gold of twenty shillings and unto Mary Denn his daughter one angel of gold.
Item I give and bequeath unto John Tibbold my son in law one angel of gold and to his wife my own daughter two pieces of gold of twenty shillings apiece and unto her three children Michael Tibbold Margaret Wreake and Mary Hogben to either of them one angel of gold.
Item I give and bequeath unto Katherine Neame my daughter two pieces of gold of twenty
shillings apiece.
Item I give and bequeath unto Margaret my daughter in law one piece of gold of twenty
shillings.
Item I give and bequeath unto Michael Denn her son thirty pounds
and unto William Denn her son being the younger son of my son Thomas Denn deceased one
angel of gold the same to be paid unto them within ten days after my death if they be then alive
and shall lawfully demand it.
Item I give and bequeath unto William Forstall the last of my daughter Mary�s children
twenty and five pounds
and to William Elnor my daughter Katherine son twenty and five pounds
and to Richard Forstall one other of them one piece of gold of twenty shillings paid
unto Henry Forstall one other of them five pounds
and to either of them sons(?) one pair of ? for to be paid unto them within ten days after my
death if they be then alive and shall lawfully demand it.
Item I give and bequeath unto Margaret Bentley the eldest of my daughter Mary�s daughters
ten shillings.
Item I give and bequeath unto Mary Forstall one other of them ten
pounds and one ? tablecloth and one dozen of napkins and one pair of sheets.
Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Forstall one other of them five pounds and one
pair of sheets.
Item I give and bequeath unto Jone(?) Forstall my brother John Dense of Wye and to his
daughter Phillis(?) Dense my goddaughter to either of them one piece of gold of twenty
shillings.
Item I give and bequeath unto John Dense and unto Michael Dense and unto Mary Dense my
aforesaid John Dense�s children to either of
them a French Crown in gold and one English Crown to either of them one.
Item I give and bequeath unto Martha Dense the daughter of my cousin Phillip Dense deceased
one French Crown in gold.
Item I give and bequeath unto Thomas Hogben my grandson one French Crown in gold.
Item my will and meaning is that so many of my other godchildren as shall come within one year
after my death and demand it shall ? ? apiece.
Item I give and bequeath ? younger son Richard Denn two hundred pounds
the ? the said Richard Denn my son has received of me by my own hands.
The residue of all my other moveable goods chattels money and debts whatsoever and wheresoever
it be not before by me given willed and bequeathed I will give and bequeath them wholly and
solely unto my son John which said John Denn my son I do make and ordain to be the sole and only Executor of this my last Will and
Testament trusting he will see this my last Will and Testament to be well and faithfully performed
according to my will and true meaning and I do make William Denn my eldest son the overseer of this
my last Will and Testament and I will him for his pains twenty shillings. The mark of the Testatrix.
