Item I give to my grandchild William Rigden one silver ring and two silver spoons.
Item I give to my grandchild Edmund(?) Rigden one silver and gilt ? and two silver spoons.
Item I give to my grandchild Marie Rigden one great ? bedstead one featherbed one bolster two
pillows two ? one ? two pairs of sheets and the ? belonging to the bed.
Item I give to my grandchild Robert Child two silver spoons.
Item I give to my grandchildren Elizabeth and Ann Huffam ? pence apiece.
Item I give to my cousin Elizabeth ? twenty pounds to be paid to her within the three next
months after my decease by five pounds five shillings eight pence per annum which five pounds five
shilling eight pence shall be paid unto the foresaid Elizabeth out of the yearly rent of that my messuage
or tenement which is now in the occupation of Nicholas Daniel or his assigns which messuage or
tenement lying in the Parishes of Nether Hardres and Petham or one of them in the County of Kent.
Item I give to my grandchild John Rigden all that my foresaid messuage or tenement with the appertuances aforesaid provided that if it shall please God that the foresaid John Rigden shall depart out of this life before he shall accomplish the age of one and twenty years then I will and bequeath it to my grandchild Marie Rigden and her heirs for ever.
Item I give to my grandchild Marie Child all that
my messuage or tenement with the smiths, forges and other the appertuances lying in the Parish of
Nether Hardres in the county aforesaid now or late in the occupation of David Brown(?) or his assigns.
Item I give to my cousin(?) Edward Denn the son of Richard Denn seventeen(?) shillings.
All the rest of my goods moveables and debts due to me I give to my son in law John Child of Milton next
Gravesend in the County of Kent, Gentleman and Edmund Rigden of the county aforesaid, yeoman
whom I do institute and appoint to be my Executors. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this 21 July 1631. The mark of Marie Denn in the presence of
