Item I give unto the poor of the Parish of Kingston aforesaid forty shillings.
Item I give unto the poor of the Parish of Barham forty shillings
and to the poor of the Parish of Womenswold I give twenty shillings which said several sums
of I will shall be paid by my Executor and at his discretion distributed amongst them within one month
next after my decease.
Item I give unto Thomas Denne my son forty shillings in money to buy him a
ring therewith to be paid him within one month next after my decease.
Item I give unto John Denne the son of my said son Thomas Denne one ring worth twenty
shillings to be paid and delivered him by my Executor at his age of one and twenty years.
Item I give unto Thomas Denne son of my said son Thomas Denne so such plate as shall be
worth ten pounds of lawful English money to be paid and delivered him by my Executor at his age
of one and twenty years.
Item I give unto Katherine Benchkin my daughter all my wearing apparel both linen and
woollen one feather bed bolster and one pillow.
Item I give unto Vincent Benchkin and James Benchkin to each of them one ring worth twenty
shillings to be ? and delivered them by my Executor at their several ages of one and twenty years.
Item I give unto Thomas Coppin son of my daughter Silvester and to Mary Chapman his
sister to each of them one ring worth twenty shillings to be paid and delivered them by my
Executor within one year next after my decease.
Item I give unto Mary Osborne my daughter one of my rings of gold.
Item I give unto Catherine Thomasine and Bridget daughters of my son Thomas Denne to
every one of them ten pounds of lawful money of England ? ten pounds apiece shall be paid to
every one of them by my said son Thomas Denne their father who hath twenty pounds of mine in
guineas(?).
Item I give unto them the said three daughters of my said son Thomas Denne to every one of them
so much plate as shall be worth ten pounds to be paid and delivered them by my Executor at
their several ages of eighteen years.
Item I give unto Anne, Elizabeth and Frances daughters of Mary Osborne my daughter for
every one of them each a dozen of silver spoons and I do further give to every one of them two
pairs of sheets one pair of pillowcases one tablecloth one towel and one dozen of napkins to be
delivered them by my Executor at their several days of marriage.
Item I give unto John Osborne son of my daughter Osborne one ring worth twenty shillings
to be paid and delivered him by my Executor at his age of one and twenty years.
Item I give unto Katherine Pordage(?) my goddaughter one ring worth twenty shillings to
be paid and delivered unto her at her day of marriage.
Item my will and mind is that if my said son Thomas Denne shall make any claim or challenge unto any of my moveable goods or household stuff now or at the time of my decease in Denhill House now ? that which was given to John Denne my son deceased by his father�s will or shall pay any claim or shall trouble my Executor for any wont or money which I have anyway ? or shall trouble my Executor for any due or debts which he may claim and due unto him from me then my will and mind my said son Thomas Denne nor any of his children shall gain or receive the benefits of any legacy from me in this my last Will and Testament to them or any of them by me bequeathed.
Item I give to every one of the servants that shall be dwelling with me at the time of my decease ten shillings apiece to be paid unto them within one month after my decease.
The residue of all my moveable goods debts and chattels whatsoever not formerly by me bequeathed
after my funeral debts and legacies be paid and discharged I give unto Vincent Denne my son whom I
make and ordain sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said
Thomasine Denne have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written. Thomasine
Denne her mark. Sealed subscribed and published by the Testatrix above named as her last Will and
Testament in the presence of
