The last will and Testament of David Denne of the parish of Bishopsborne Yeoman made by him September 3d 1642
Imprimis I David Denne being infirme in bodye but of perfitt memory (god be therefore praised) doe bequeath my Soule to Almighty god that gave it hopeing in the meritts all Sufficient of Jesus Christ for Salvacion and my body to be buried in the Churchyard of Bishopsborne.

Item to the poore of the parish of Bishopsborne twenty Shillings the like summe for the poore of Kingston to be distributed att the discetion of my Executor. as also twenty shillings to the poore of Barham to be distributed as aforesaid.

Item: I give all my Lands wheresoever unto my brother Peter Denne for and during the terme of his naturall life and to the heirs made of his bodye lawfully begotten after his decease
and for default of such issue to my Sister Margaret Denne and for her heires made of her bodye lawfully begotten
and for default of such issue to John Denne sonne of Thomas Denne of St Alphege: Canterb and to his heirs for ever.

Item Alsoe to my brother Peter Denne all my wearing Apparell as also my Corstlett and the gold ring that was my fathers.
Item: More all my hoppoles after the hopps are off them to the same.
Item To my Sister Margett all my hopps which are now groweinge

Item to my loveing wife all my goods and Chattels as well houshold stuff as other whatsoever except before bequeathed to my brother and Sister and likewise threescore pound which I give to my Sister Margarett and make her Executor of this my Last will and testament.
Provided that if my said Sister Margarett shall faile in proveing this my Will and Testament acording as by law is requisite that then shee shall loose the benefitt of the Said threescore pounds and if it be not so proved by her within three months after my decease, the said threescore pounds as also the Executorship shall belong to my wife,

and whoever of them shall be Exectuor I appoint them out of the said threescore pounds to pay all my debts and be at the Charge of my funerall.
