Item I do nominate constitute and appoint my loving kinswoman Sarah
now wife of John Read the younger of Sandwich aforesaid Malster to be full and sole
Executrix of this my present last Will and Testament.
Item I will bequeath and give unto her
the said Sarah wife of the said John Read and to her heirs and assigns forever all that my
messuage or tenement with the buildings gardens yards backsides and appertuances thereunto
belonging or appertaining situate lying and being in the Parish of St George the Martyr in the
said City of Canterbury and now in occupation of Thomas Swanton(?) Esq.
Item I further will bequeath and give unto my said kinswoman Sarah now wife of the said John Read and to her heirs and assigns forever all those my said tenements with the barns outhouses thereunto belonging situate lying and being in the Parish of Lenham in the said County of Kent commonly known by the name of Brickmanstone(?) and all the estate right title interest ? claim and demand whatsoever of me the said Elizabeth Denne of in or to the same or any part thereof all which was lately the estate of Michael Page, Gent my late brother deceased
and as for my goods chattels plate ready money bonds debts and other personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature soever I also will bequeath and give unto her the said Sarah my Executrix for payments of my debts funeral charge and probate of this my will.
This is the last Will and Testament of me the said Elizabeth Denne and I do hereby revoke and
make void all former and other wills by me made. In witness whereof I the said Elizabeth
Denne have to this my present last Will and Testament my hand and seal set and put this
thirtieth day of March in the second year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord James the Second
by the grace of God now King of England (Latin) 1686. Elizabeth Denne. Signed sealed
published and declared by the said Elizabeth Denne to be her last Will and Testament in
