I Vincent Denne of the Citty of Canterbury doe make & ordain my last will & Testament as followeth
Imprimis I commend my soul to the grace & mercy of god my faithfull creator & of Jesus Xt. my aforesaid Redeemer & my body to the earth to be interred in Kingstone Church neere & among my Ancestors

Item I give to the poore of the said parish of Kingston Forty shillings
Item whereas I have lately married two of my daughters to whom I have given dowre [dowry] and secured one Thousand pounds apiece and expended beside for the setting them fourth one hundred pounds more
I do hereby will and declare that I give unto my other daughters and their heires All my Mannors messuages lands Tenem[en]ts and hereditaments whatsoever to the intent that they by the assignem[en]t and partition of my Friends James Master Esqr. and Mr. Henry Esday and Mr. Willm. Watson or any of them may return to th[e]m selves and their heires so much in two intire p[ar]cells as will amount to eleaven hundred pounds apeice at seaventeen yeares purchase

And the residue to be divided in four equall parcells by my friends aforesaid or any of them & by them to be assigned and allotted to my four daughters respectively and their heires, & my will is that my said two daughters unmarried shall execute the fee simple to my daughter Beake of such fourth part of the residue

Item I make my dear wife my sole Executrix

Item I give to my said Friends & to George Evelin Esqr. my ancient friend a quynnye [guinea] apiece to buy them Rings
& I give to the said James Master my mourning gown wch lyes lieger at London
Item I give to Thomas Denne my brothers son All my other black cloths, bands, Cuffs & shirts & hatts

Notes:
Vincent Denne was buried at St. Giles, Kingston (next Barham), Kent on 31st October 1693, as Vincent DEAN.
Children of Vincent and Mary, baptised at St. George the Martyr, Canterbury are: Dorothy 12 Nov, 1654; Mary 3 Jan 1658 and Bridget 26 Jun 1661.
Also baptised at St. Mary Magdalene, Canterbury we have Thomas 24 Nov 1656.
Bridget Denne, 18, singlewoman of St. Margaret, Canterbury married Robert Beake, 19, bachelor, Gentleman of St. Mildred, Canterbury, the parents of both consenting, on 27th December 1681, at St. Margaret, Canterbury.
