Item I give and bequeath
unto my sister Anne Denne spinster the full sum of ten pounds of good lawful money of England.
Item I give and bequeath to my sister Jane Landon, widow twenty five pounds of like lawful money of
England.
Item I give and bequeath unto my sister Margaret Robbins five pounds of like lawful money
of England.
Item I give and bequeath unto my sister Susan Denne, spinster the sum of five pounds of
like lawful money of England.
Item I give and bequeath to my most affectionate and loving kinswoman
Mrs Elizabeth ? the sum of ten pounds of like lawful money of England and also her brothers and her
own pictures(?).
Item I give and bequeath unto my brother David Denne if living at the time of my
death twenty shillings for a ring.
Item I give and bequeath to my brother Peter Denne and Elizabeth his now wife twenty
shillings apiece to each of them for rings.
Item I give and bequeath to Mrs Mary Sabine, Mrs Roberta(?) Marshall and Mrs Elizabeth
Gatward(?) twenty shillings apiece to each of them for rings.
Item I give and bequeath unto my three nephews Anthony, Abraham and Tristram Landon
twenty shillings apiece to each of them.
Item I give to my niece Anne Fremley the now wife of William Fremley of Sandwich in Kent,
Blacksmith twenty shillings.
Item I give to my two nieces Anne Horton the now wife of David Horton of Stelling and to
Susan Gibbons the now wife of James Gibbons of Norton twenty shillings apiece to each of
them.
Item I give to my three goddaughters Anne Shoveller Katherine Nash and Mary ? ten
shillings apiece to each of them.
Item I give to Mrs Mary Sharpe the now wife of William Sharpe of the City of Canterbury,
Butcher twenty shillings for a ring.
Item I give to Mrs Mary Wood of Sarre in the Isle of Thanet, widow ten shillings for a ring.
Item I give to the poor of the Parish of Bishopsbourne aforesaid twenty shillings to be
distributed amongst them as my Executor shall think fit
and ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? goods chattels and personal estate whatsoever not herein or
there bequeathed after my just debts legacies and funeral expenses are paid I give and bequeath unto
my loving brother William Denne whom I make and ordain sole Executor of this my last Will and
Testament and I do hereby revoke and make void all former wills made by me and do constitute
declare and appoint this to be my last Will and Testament containing two sheets of paper both
subscribed with my name and to the last of them I have affixed my seal dated the day and year first
above written. Katherine Denne. Signed sealed published and declared by the said Katherine Denne to
be her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who subscribed our names as witnesses hereof in
the presence of the Testatrix the words of Kent and first being first interlined.
