I give to my father William Denne of the Parish of Huffam (Hougham) in the County of Kent farmer
a pair of silver table spoons marked with the initials of my name.
Also I give unto my sister Mrs Ann Blake (widow) all my plate.
Also I give and bequeath unto my sister Charlotte Denne, spinster the whole of my
household furniture, linen and wearing apparel of all sorts for her own use and benefit
and also I give and devise all that my undivided third part or share the whole into three equal parts or shares to be divided of and in all that my freehold messuage or tenement and also all that chapel or meeting house with the garden ground hereditaments and appertuances whatsoever to the said messuage and chapel belonging or appertaining situate lying and being in the Parish of Saint Mildreds in the City of Canterbury aforesaid the messuage or tenement being now or late in the tenure or occupation of Mrs Hills(?) and also all my personal and residue of my estate and effects and all other my monies that I may be possessed of or in any ways entitled to at the time of my decease unto my said sister Charlotte Denne to hold the same unto her my said sister for and during the term of her natural life or marriage whichever may first happen and from and immediately after her decease or marriage then I give devise and bequeath all that my said one third part or share of and in the said freehold messuage or tenement and chapel with the garden ground hereditaments and appertuances thereto belonging and also the principal money and monies from which the interest shall arise and become payable to my said sister for life as aforesaid unto my good friend Mr Henry Thomas Smith of the City of Canterbury aforesaid, coachmaker and to his heirs executors administrators and assigns forever.
And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint
my uncle Mr John Denne of Carrington(?) in the said County of Kent farmer, sole Executor of this my
will and do revoke all former wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this only to be my
last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have to this my said last Will and Testament set my hand
and seal this twenty eighth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
twenty. Mary Elizabeth Denne. Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testatrix as and for
her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence at her request and in the presence
of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses hereunto.

Proved at London the 8th November 1820 before the Judge by the oath of John Denne the uncle of the whole(?) Executor to whom administration was granted being first sworn by commission duly to administer.
