The last will and testament nuncupative of John Despaigne late whilst he lived of the Black fryers in the Citie of Canterbury silke Dyer deceased by him uttered and declared att severall times as well in the time of the health as in the time of the last sicknes whereof he died he beinge then (in the judgment of all the persons psent) of good memorie and understandinge in these words followinge or the like in effect and substance That is to say

he the said John Despaigne some time of himself and of his owne accord and some other time upon the question put to him did with a purpose to make his will and declare his testimentarie mind and meaninge say that his whole estate should be equally parted and shared amongst all his children beinge two sonnes and one daughter as also that all his said children should be his Joynt executors

And he thus declared his mind in the presence of all his said children and in the presence of such other persons (some att one time and some att another) as are here subscribed

And in testimonie of the truth hereof and that the said children doe approve and allowe of the said will and freely consent agree and condescend thereunto they have hereunto also signed and subscribed the nineteenth day of March in the yeare of our Lord one Thousand sixe hundred Fiftie five
