In the Name of God Amen I Sarah Diggerson of Deale in the County of Kent Widow being sicke and weak in body but of sound and perfect minde and memory (praised be God for the same) do make my last will and Testament this Thirteenth day of January Anno Dom: 1697/8 in manner following
First I commend my soule into the hands of God my Creator my body I comitt to the earth to be decently buried according to the discrecon of my Executors hereafter named

Item I give devise and bequeath (after payment of my debts and funerall expences) All and singuler my Messuages Tenements goods chattels moveables and personall estate whatsoever and wheresoever of what nature or quality soever unto my three Children Morgan, Deborah and Johanna Diggerson equally share and share alike

And I do hereby nominate and appoint my son Richard Diggerson and my loving friend Alexander Steward joynt Executors of this my last will and Testament
and do hereby revoke all other wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made and do make and declare this only to be my true and last will and Testament

In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and year first abovewritten

Sarah Diggerson was buried in St. Leonard, Deal, Kent on 17 Jan 1697/98.
Her husband John Diggerson was buried there 25 Aug 1687.
John Diggers married Sarah Davis 8 Jun 1665 at Deal.
Children: Mary 15 Sep 1667; John 1 Sep 1672; Richard (Diggars) 23 May 1675; William (Diggers) 15 Sep 1678; Sarah (Diggers) 20 Mar 1680/1 (bur. 26 Jun 1681);
Deborah 17 Sep 1682; Morgan (Diggers) 7 Jun 1685; Johanna 27 Feb 1687/88 – christened St. Leonard.
