This is the Last Will and testament of me John Dilnott of Woodlands in the parish of Adisham in the County of Kent Gentleman made this thirtieth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine
first impressed with the highest sentiments of Love and reverence to the supreme being under whose divine favor and protection I have acquired all the worldly goods that I possess let me before I proceed to the disposal thereof in thankfulness and gratitude acknowledge the many blessings received at his hand and recommending my Soul to his mercy

I then give and bequeath unto my Nephews John Harvey and Henry Wise Harvey both of the Royal Navy Sons of my Sister Margaret the Wife of Henry Wise Harvey of Haindon in the parish of Eastry in the said County Gentleman all my property Real and personal wheresoever and whatsoever and of what kind or quality soever the same shall consist and be at the time of my decease I give the same and every part thereof to them and their heirs for ever as tenants in common and not as joint tenants
subject nevertheless and charged and chargeable with the several legacies and annuities by me herein hereafter given and bequeathed that is to say

I give and bequeath unto my Niece Sarah Harvey the Sum of three thousand pounds to be paid her within one year after my decease

I give and bequeath unto Great Niece Eliza Hilton daughter of my Niece Elizabeth Hilton deceased the Sum of two thousand pounds to be paid to her on her attaining the age of twenty one years
but my will is that she shall not be paid Interest for the same till she shall be of age and should she happen to die before that time then I direct that the said legacy shall sink into the residue of my Personal Estate

I give and bequeath unto my Housemaid Sarah Roalf provided she shall be living with me at the time of my decease but not otherwise the Sum of One hundred pounds
I also give and bequeath unto my Servant William Joiner my Housekeeper Elizabeth Williams and Old Bailiff John Grant provided that shall be with me at the time of my decease but not otherwise one clear Annuity of twenty pounds a year each for and during the term of their natural lives in my two cottages situated by the Pond in Adisham but should they not wish to live in the said cottages they shall not be allowed to let them to any other person or to have any other interest in them whatever

And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Nephews John Harvey and Henry Wise Harvey Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made do declare this only to be and contain my last Will and Testament
