This is the last Will and Testament of me Martha Diprose of Headcorn in the County of Kent Widow made this Sixteenth day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and twenty four
First I desire to be buried in as plain a manner as possible with decency

And I appoint my Son Samuel & Isaac Dobell of Cranbrook in the said County Spirit Merchant Exors of this my Will

Whereas I now stand justly and truly indebted unto the Reverend John Kenward Shaw Brooke of Eltham in the said County of Kent Clerk in the sum of One hundred pounds Now I do hereby direct my said Exors to pay the same unto him within the space of Six months after the decease of Ann the Widow of the late Robert Pyall of Cranbrook aforesaid Yeoman

I give and bequeath unto my said Son Samuel my Silver Cup and half a dozen silver Tea Spoons marked R B and also my small stand
I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Ann Jenner Widow my Mahogany Claw Table my silver Watch and the Gilt frame Picture of the old house
I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Sophia the Wife of Richard Children my Silver Gravy Spoon my Pembroke Table and half a dozen black chairs
I give and bequeath the whole of my Wearing Apparel unto my said two Daughters Mary Ann Jenner and Sophia Children to be equally divided between them

and all the residue of my ready monies and securities for money goods chattels plate Linen China household furniture and personal Estate whatsoever (after payment of my just debts funeral expences and the charges of proving this my Will) I give and bequeath the same unto my said Son Samuel and my said Daughters Mary Ann Jenner and Sophia Children equally to be divided between them share and share alike and to their several and respective Exors Admors & Assigns absolutely and for ever

And in case of the death of any or either of them my said Son & Daurs during my lifetime My Will and mind is that the legacy part or share of him her or them so dying shall go and be paid to his her or their children respectively To whom I give and bequeath the same accordingly to be equally divided between them share and share alike at their respective ages of twenty one years
