In the name of God Amen The two & twentith [22] day of October 1629 And in ye Fi[r]ste yeere of ye Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles by ye grace of God King of England, Scotland, France & Ireland, defender of the Faith, etc.
I Robert Dod of p[ar]ish of Littlebourne in ye County of Kent Weaver being sicke in body but of good & p[er]fect memory praised be God doe make & ordaine this my last will & Testament in man[n]er & Forme following
Imprimis I will & bequeath my soule into the hands of Allmighty God my Creator fully assuring my selfe through ye death & resurrection of Jesus Christ my blessed Redeemer to have full remission & forgiveness of all my sins & thls my body to be buried in ye Churchyard of ye pishe of Little=bourne

Item I will & bequeith unto my welbeloved wife Thamesin Dod ye Sume of Twenty pounds of Lawfull English monie to be paid unto her by mine Executor heerafter to be nominated And all my Land in ye pishe of Brook during her naturall life
And after her decease I will & bequeath the Land in Brook aforesaid unto my Son Thomas Dod

Moreover I will & bequeath unto my Loving Wife Thamesin her dwelling in ye farme house w[hi]ch now I possesse during her naturall life
And after her decease I will & bequeath ye same house in ye pishe of Little=bourne unto my Son Robert Dod

Item I will & bequeath unto my Son Thomas Dod Twenty pounds of lawfull English monie to be paid unto him by mine Executor heerafter to be nominated, And a Loome now standing in ye Bassno? And also a Coverlet allready in his owne possession
Item I will & bequeath unto Agnes ye daughter of Thomas Dod a peece of gold of Two and twenty shillings of lawfull English monie to be paid unto her by mine Executor heerafter to be nominated
Item I will unto Martha ye daughter of Thomas Dod Tenne shillings of lawfull English monie to be paid unto her by mine Executor heerafter to be nominated
Item I will & bequeath unto my daughter Gillian Wife of Richard Faireman Twenty shillings of lawfull English monie to be paid unto her by mine Executor heerafter to be nominated
Item I will & bequeath unto my daughter Thamesin Dod One & Twenty pounds of lawfull English monie to be paid unto her by mine Executor heerafter to be nominated at ye eand of three moneths

And for all my Legacies Formerly pr[o]mised my will is that they shalbe all discharged at ye eand of three moneths Imediatly after my decease
And all ye rest of my goods of Chattells formerly unbequeathed I will & bequeath unto my Loveing Son Robert Dod whom I doe constitute ordaine & appointe ye sole & singuler executor of this my last will & Testament

Robert Dad married Thomsen Watson 1st September 1585 at St. Vincent, Littlebourne, Kent.
Daughter Gillian Dod, 32, single, married Richard Faireman, 23, Single, at Littlebourne on 4th November 1622.
