The abovesaid Nycholas Dooe beying Sycke in bodye butt of good & perfitt remembraunce, the 21st
day of February in Anno Domini 1599 beinge then Demanded by Edmond Adye of Thurnham &
Robert Dooe the sunne of the sayd nycholas how he had determined that such goods as he had
should be given, the said nycholas answered them & sayd
he Dyd geve to the poore people of Hucking 30 shillings
& unto Steephyn Wood his kinsman 3s.4d
and unto Agnes Wood 3s.4d
& unto one called Agnes Reader 3s.4d
and all the Residue of his goods he gave unto his Daughter Barbara Dooe Synglewooman who Dydd attend to hym & Dwelled with the abovesayd nycholas Dooe for Long as he lyved
In testimony whereof and beinge requested by the said nycholas to wynttnes the same wee the abovesaid Edmond Adye & Robert Dooe have caused our names to be hereunto Subscribed this 11th day of May in anno Domini 1601
These being the Wittnesses to the presente Edmond Adye his marke & Robert Dooe ye writer hereof
