In the name of God amen,
The 11th daye of Maye and in the yere of o[ur] Lorde God a Ml vC lvj and in the seconde and thirde yeres of the raigne of o[ur] soveraigne Lorde and Ladye Phyllyppe and Marye, by the grace of God, Kynge and Qwene of Yngland, Fraunce, Neaples, Jerusalem and Ireland, defendors of the faythe, Prynces of Spayne and Cycyll, Archedukes of Austryche, Dukes of Myllen, Burgundye and Brabant, Cowntyes of Haspurge, Flaunders and Tyroll,
I, Wyllyam Daye of Leneham, in good remembrance, make this my laste testament in forme followynge.
It[e]m I bequethe my sowle to God and my bodye to be buryed in the churche yarde of Leneham, and to be buryed as a chrystyan man owght to be.

It[e]m I bequeath to Wyllyam Daye 40s.
It[e]m to Thomas Stotynge 6s 8d.

The Resydewe of my goodes I wyll John Packnam have to dyspose at his dyscretyon.

Wytnes Edward Slane, vycare of Leneham, and Thomas Stotynge.

[This present will was proved on the 15th day of the month of June in the one thousand five hundred and fifty seventh year of our Lord,
By the oaths of Sir Edward Slane and Thomas Stotyng, witnesses,
And approved etc,
And the burden of execution etc of the same was committed to John Packnam, he having been sworn in form of law etc.
