This is the last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth Draper of Strood in the County of Kent Widow made published and declared the twentieth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty four in manner following that is to say
First I desire that my body may be interred under the direction of my Executors hereinafter named

And I give and bequeath all my china and plate my cruets and stand small Swing looking glass hearth rug window curtains and blinds and hair trunk marked S.D. unto my Grandson Thomas Brenchley Baker and Granddaughter Ann Baker to be divided between them with as much equality as may be
And I direct that the same articles shall be delivered into and remain in the care and custody of the said Thomas Brenchley Baker until the said Ann Baker shall attain her age of twenty one years and then be divided between them as aforesaid

And I bequeath to my daughter in law Sarah Millon my wedding ring and black silk pellisse
And unto my daughter in law Charlotte Brenchley my mourning ring

And I bequeath all my ready money and securities for money goods Chattels and personal estate whatsoever not hereinbefore specifically bequeathed (after subject to the payment thereout of my just debts and funeral and testamentary expences) unto my said Grandson Thomas Brenchley Baker absolutely

And I appoint William Webb of the Custom house Rochester Gentleman William Clements of Rochester Builder and the said Thomas Brenchley Baker Executors of this my Will and revoke all former Wills and Codicils by me made

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written � Elizabeth Draper � Signed sealed published and declared by the said Elizabeth Draper the Testatrix as and for her last Will & Testament in the presence of us
James Lewis, Rochester � William Dorrett, Rochester.

Proved at London the 27th April 1840 before the Worshipful Herbert Jenner Dr of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of Thomas Brenchley Baker the Grandson one of the Executors to whom admon was granted having been first sworn duly to administer. Power reserved of making the like grant to William Webb and William Clements the other Executors when they shall apply for the same.

Elizabeth Goldick, widow married William Baker, widower at Strood August 1783
Daughters in law Sarah and Charlotte, were her step-children, daughters of William Baker
William Baker was buried at Strood 7 Mar 1805
Elizabeth Baker, widow married Samuel Draper at St Margaret's Rochester in 1810
Elizabeth's son Thomas Baker was baptised in 1786 and married Letitia Brenchley in 1808
Thomas Brenchley Baker was baptised at Strood 11 Mar 1810
