In the name of God Amen I John Dunkin of Cranbrook in the County of Kent Husbandman being sick and weake in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory (praised be God therefore) do make and ordaine this to be my last Will and Testament in writting in manner and forme Following:
And first I comend my Soul into the hands of God who gave it and my body I comitt to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named And touching the disposition of what worldly Estate it hath pleased God to bless me with I dispose of the same as Follows;

Item I give and bequeath unto my Father John Dunkin the sume of Ten Pounds of lawfull Money of England to be paid him by my Executor within three months next after my decease And also four Shirts two Coats a pair of Breeches and a hat;
Item I give and bequeath unto my Sister Elizabeth the Wife of Thomas Little of Bennenden in the said County the sume of Ten pounds of like lawfull money to be paid her by my Executor within three months next after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto the said Thomas Little my best Coate, Wastcoate, Breeches & hat with all my neckcloths;

Item I give and bequeath unto my Cozin Elizabeth Hook (eldest Daughter of the said Elizabeth Little) the sume of forty pounds of like lawfull money to be paid her by my Executor when she shall attaine her Age of One and Twenty Years if she shall so long live;
Item I give and bequeath to my Cousen Ann Hook (the other Daughter of my said Sister Elizabeth Little) the like sum of Forty pounds of like money to be paid her by my Executor when she shall attaine her Age of One and Twenty Years;
And in case either of the said Sisters Elizabeth Hook or Anne Hook shall happen to dye and depart this life before se shall attaine her Age of one & Twenty Years then I give and bequeath the Forty pounds herein before given to the said Sister to the Survivour of them;
And also I give and bequeath unto the said Elizabeth Hook & Anne Hook my Chest with whatsoever is therein with all the remaining part of my Linnen equally to be divided between them;

Item all the rest and residue of my Moneys goods and Chattells whatsoever I give and bequeath unto my Brother Edward Dunkin whom I do hereby make sole Executt [Executor] of this my last Will and Testament

In Wittness whereof I the said John Dunkin the Testator to this my last Will & Testament have set my hand & seale this Sixth Day of November in the first Year of the Reigne of O[u]r Soveraigne Lady Anne Queen over England &c; Annoq Dni 1702

Signed, Sealed, Published and Declared by the said John Dunkin the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the pr[e]sence of Us who set our hands hereunto in the prsence of the said Testator
(of Bennenden) (by my Executor) and (when she shall attaine) being first Interlined

Probatum fuit: 17th December 1702

Notes:
John Dunkin of Cranbrook was buried at St. George, Benenden 10th November 1702
Father John Dunkin, poor aged 84 was also buried at St. George, Benenden 9th December 1712
