In the Name of God Amen 24th day of Jan'y 1821
I Wm. Robt. Dunkin in the Ville of Dunkirk in the County of Kent, Labour[er] being weak in Body but of perfect Mind and Memory (thanks be to God therefore) calling to mind the mortality of my Body and knowing that (it) is appointed for all Men to die, do make and ordain this my last will and Testament (that is to say)
Principally and first of all I Give and recommend my Soul into the Hand of Almighty God that gave it and my Body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in decent christian Burial at the discretion of my Executors nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God And as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this Life, I Give demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form after my funeral Expences are paid and all my lawfull Debts

I will and Bequeath all my wereing Aparel Household Furniture to my dearly beloved Wife during her Life and at her Decease to be divided amongst all my Children share and share alike together with my House and Land and all my Personal Property

I constitute and apoint Dr? Quaife Auctioneer and William Dunking my Son to be my joint Executors
And it is my desire that the House and Lands may be Sold and every thing to be fully settled in three Months after my decease

It is my Will that my Wife Ann Dunking shall Share and Share alike with all my Children in the House and Land and all other Effects whatever

this is my last Will and Testament As Witness my Hand this first Day of Febry. 1821

The before registered Will of William Robert Dunking deceased was proved the Eighth Day of October 1823 before the Revered John Francis, Clerk, Surrogate to the Worshipful Maurice Joabey?, Doctor of Laws, Commissary General of the City and Diocese of Canterbury, lawfully constituted by the Oath of William Dunking the Son, One of the Executors named in the said Will, He being first sworn well and truly to perform the same
Power reserved of making the like grant to Edward Quaife the other Executor, when he shall apply for the same

William Dunkin, otp [of this parish], Batchelor and Ann Newinton, otp, Spinster, were Married in this Church by Banns this 13th Day of November in the Year 1773 by me Henry Heaton, Vicar. This Marriage was solemnized between Us: William Dunkin X his mark; Ann Newinton X her mark, In the Presence of: Robart Finn, George Boulden, at SS Peter & Paul, Boughton-under-Blean.
