I give and bequeath to my Executor hereinafter named his Executors and Administrators the six Hundred Pounds Capital Stock now standing in my Name in the Three Per Cent Bank Annuities of the Year 1759 Upon the Trust following that is to say
In Trust for the three Children of my Daughter Anne Perron by Andrew Perren her Husband
equally to be divided between them Share and Share alike and to be paid and transferred to them by
my Executor his Executors and Administrators as they respectively attain their
Ages of twenty one Years
And if any or either of them shall happen to dye under
the Age of twenty one Years the Part and Share of them as shall so dye to go to
the Survivors or Survivor of them at his her or their Age or Ages of twenty one
Years
And in Trust to pay the Dividends Interest and Yearly Proceed of the said six Hundred Pounds Stock as the same shall from time to time come in and be received unto the said Andrew Perren and Ann his Wife during the Minority of his said Children towards their Maintenance and Education
but if all the said three Children shall happen to dye under the Age of twenty one Years Then in Trust to
pay the Dividends Interest and Yearly Proceed of the said six Hundred Pounds
Stock as the same shall from time to time come in and be received unto the said
Andrew Perren and Ann his Wife during their Lives and the Life of the Survivor of
them And after the Death of the Survivor
In Trust to transfer the said six Hundred Pounds Stock unto my Son John Elgar if he shall be then living to and
for his own use
But if the said John Elgar shall be then dead In Trust to transfer
the said six Hundred Pounds Stock unto my Son Robert Elgar if he shall be then
living to and for his own use
But if the said Robert Elgar shall be also then dead
my Will is that the said six Hundred Pounds Stock shall remain to the use of my
Executor his Executors and Administrators
Also I give and bequeath to my said Son Robert Elgar seven hundred Pounds Capital Stock now standing in my Name in the Four Per Cent Bank Annuities of the Year 1762 the same to be transferred to him by my Executor as soon as may conveniently may be after my Decease
Also I give and bequeath to my said Son John Elgar and Sarah his Wife the sum of fifty pounds to be paid unto them by my Executor within six Months next after my Decease
Also I give and bequeath unto David Sales and Mary his Wife (my Daughter) the like sum of fifty pounds to be paid unto them by my Executor within six Months next after my Decease
Also I give and bequeath unto Mr John Wick Dissenting Minister at Maidstone aforesaid the sum of fifty pounds to be paid unto them by my Executor within six Months next after my Decease
Also I give and devise unto my Son William Elgar All that my Messuage or Tenement with the Hereditaments and Appurtenances thereto belonging now in my own Occupation situate standing and being in Weeks street in Maidstone aforesaid To Hold the same unto and to the use of my said Son William Elgar his Heirs and Assigns for ever
And I do hereby give and bequeath all my Moneys Securitys for Money Goods Chattels and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what Nature of Kind soever (Except what I have hereinbefore specifically given and bequeathed) unto my said Son William Elgar his Executors Administrators and Assigns to and for his and their own Use and Uses absolutely subject nevertheless to the payment of my just Debts
And I do hereby revoke and make void all former and other Wills and Codicils by me at any time heretofore made And constitute and appoint my said Son William Elgar sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Elgar the Testator
have to this my last Will and Testament have set my Hand and Seal the tenth
Day of August in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty two
and in the second year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by
the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith
and so Forth _ Tho Elgar
