This is the Last Will and Testament of me Nathaniel Elgar of the Town & Port of Sandwich in the Co: of Kent Gentleman I being of sound Mind & Memory

First I Give & bequeath All and singular my Ready Money Stock in the Public Funds and all other my Personal Estate wheresoever Subject to the Paymt of my just Debts Funeral Expences & Charges of proving this my Will unto my Sister Ann Elgar her Ex: Ad: & Assigns

Also I Give and Devise one full equal undivided Moiety or half Part the .... in 2 equal Parts to be divided of and in All and singular my Messuage or Tenemt Lands Hereditaments & Real Estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto the Revd Robert Sloper of the Devizes in Wiltshire and Sarah his Wife Daughter of my late Sister Sarah Ridgeway their Heirs and Assigns for ever

and the other full equal and undivided Moiety or half Part of & in all and singular my Messuage or Tenemt Lands Hereditaments & Real Estate whatsoever & wheresoever I Give and Devise unto James Toomer of Basingstoke in Hampshire and Sarah his Wife Daughter of my late Sister Hester Fletcher their Heirs and Assigns for ever

And I do constitute & appoint my said Sister Ann Elgar and the said Robt Sloper & Sarah his Wife & James Toomer & Sarah his Wife Exors of this my last Will & hereby revoke all former Wills by me made In Witness etc.
Dated 13 day of February 1792

I Nathaniel Elgar of the Town & Port of Sandwich in the Count of Kent Gentleman do make this Present Codicil which I do order and direct shall be taken as part of my Last Will and Testament

And do hereby Give and Bequeath unto William Philpott of Sandwich aforesaid Gentleman One hundred Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain

And I do also Give and Bequeath unto my two Maid Servants Sarah Elsted and Jane Ayles the Sum of One hundred Pounds apiece of like lawful Money to be paid them by my Executors within Six Months next after my decease

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this twenty third day of February in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and ninety six Nath: Elgar
