Also I hereby authorise and direct my Executor hereinafter named to make an offer to my good friend John Culmer Nazer of Dover aforesaid Hatter for sale and purchase by him of my leasehold dwelling house (now in two dwellings) shop, yard, ground and appurtenances thereunto belonging and also of my furniture in the summerhouse used with the said premises situate and being in Snargate Street at the pier in Dover aforesaid and now in the respective occupations of me and Daniel Nazer and all my estate terms and interest therein for the price or sum of one hundred pounds
And for promoting and facilitating such sale do and shall enter into make do and execute all such
contracts, covenants, agreements conveyances, assignments, assurances matters and things which
shall be deemed requisite for the purpose aforesaid, he the said John Culmer Nazer paying for the
stamps and the charges and expenses attending and incident to such sale and purchase
And I declare that the receipt of my said Executor his executors or administrators for such purchase money shall
effectually discharge the said John Culmer Nazer his heirs executors administrators and assigns for the payment thereof
And I direct that the said sum of one hundred pounds shall form part of the residue of my personal estate
Also I give unto my Cousin Sarah George of Sandgate in the said County of Kent Widow a legacy or sum of one hundred pounds sterling to be paid to her as soon conveniently may be after my decease
Also I give and bequeath unto my Cousin Mary Bishop the Wife of Daniel Bishop the Elder of
Dover aforesaid Bricklayer the dividends and interest accruing due on the capital sum of five
hundred pounds New South Sea Annuities now standing in my name in that Stock
And I hereby direct that if it shall happen at my decease I shall not be possessed of such capital stock
or Fund or that the same shall be insufficient to pay and discharge such annuity and legacy then the
same shall be made good out of the said residue of my personal estate
And I declare and direct that the said dividends and interest of such capital Stock or other sum of money as the case may be when and as the same shall be received, shall be paid to the said Mary Bishop or to such person as she shall direct and her receipt or the person whom she shall duly authorise to receive the same notwithstanding her coverture shall be a sufficient discharge and sufficient discharges to my said Executors his executors or administrators for the same so that the said dividends and interest shall be for the separate use of the said Mary Bishop and not subject to the debts, control or interference of her said Husband And I direct that the legacy duty and other expenses incident thereto shall be paid out of the residue of my personal estate
And from and after the decease of the said Mary Bishop I give and bequeath the said capital sum of five hundred pounds New South Sea Annuities or such other sum as aforesaid unto and equally between all and every the daughters of the said Mary Bishop their executors administrators and assigns respectively
And as to all the residue of my furniture and effects and the residue of my Personal Estate and all my real estate I give devise and bequeath the same unto my Brother in Law Richard Boorn of Dover aforesaid Gentleman the Husband of my late Sister Elizabeth subject to the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and also the aforesaid legacies and payments and the duty and expenses payable and incident on the said annuity and legacy to the said Mary Bishop and her daughters To hold the same and every part thereof unto the said Richard Boorn his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns according to the nature and tenure thereof respectively to and for his and their absolute use and benefit
And I appoint the said Richard Boorn sole Executor of this my Will
And I hereby declare that the receipt and receipts of the said Richard Boorn his executors and
administrators for any other monies payable to hum or them under this my Will shall effectually
discharge the person or persons respectively paying the same
In Witness whereof I the said Alice Emptage the testatrix have to this my last Will and Testament
contained in this and the preceding sheet of paper set my hand and my seal at the top where the said
sheets are affixed the fifteenth day of December one thousand eight hundred and forty one
