Item I will unto Joane my wife all my houshold stuffe during her naturall life
except one Bedsteddle & flockbed and all things belonging to the same w[hi]ch Bedsteddle & flockbed & all things belonging to the same
I give unto my sonne Thomas Fagge whome I make my sole Executor of this my last will & Testament unto whome I give the said houshold stuffe
given to my said wife during her naturall Life, after my said wive's death and all ther(e) my goods & Chattells whatsoever,
he paying my legacies & buriall expences
Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter in law Sibell Henyker if she overlive her husband that now is xls [40 shillings] to be paid her within one yeare after the death of her said husband & my said wife by my said Executor under the Condicon that my said wife shall p[er]mitt such household stuffe before given to my said wife during her n[atu]rall life to come to my said Executor after her death
Item I give and bequeath unto William Fagge sonne of my sonne Christopher Fagge one ewe and a lamb to be paid him by my said Executor at the said William his age of one & Twenty yeares
This is the Last will and Testament of me the said George touching my Tenements and Lands
I will that my said wife shall have her dwelling during her naturall life in one Chamber or loft (in)
my Tenement Scituate in the Towne of Hith [Hythe] in the County of Kent during her Naturall Life,
with egresse & regresse into unto & from the said Chamber & Loft during her naturall Life wch
Chamber or Loft is the Middle chamber or Loft in the said Tenement
Item I give & bequeath unto my said sonne Thomas Fagge & his heires for ever my said Tenement Scituate in Hith aforesaid & orchard belonging to
the said Tenement with their appurtencs [appurtenances] he paying the severall sumes of mony hereafter named vizt.
Unto my said wife during her naturall Life yearly xxs quarterly to be paid her at the feast of the Annunciation of oure Lady Mary the virgine, the feast of St. John Baptist, St. Michaell the Archangell & the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ by even porcons the first payment to beginne at that feast of the said feast wch shall next happenafter my death
And if it shall happen the said sume of xxs or any part thereof to be behind in part or in all after any of the of the said feast in wch it shall grow due & ought to be paid that then I will it shalbe Lawfull for my said wife to enter & distreine in all or any the prmisses before given to my said sonne Thomas the distresse thereof and .....[one line] .. my said wife be satisfied & paid the said sume of xxs & every part thereof and all Arrerages thereof (if any) shall happen to be
Item I will that my said sonne Thomas shall pay unto my said sonnes William Fagge & Christopher
Fagge seaven pounds a peece within one yeare after the death of the longest liver of mee the said George & my said wife
And if it shall happen that the said severall sumes of seaven pounds or any part thereof not be paid
as aforesaid That then it shalbe Lawfull for my said Sonnes William & Christopher or any of them
to enter into the said Tenem[en]t & Orchards given to my said Sonne Thomas And the same
to hold untill they the said William & Christopher & either of them shalbe paid the said severall sumes of seaven pounds & every part thereof
Item I will either [also?] that my Sonne Thomas shall give unto my said wife yearly during her naturall life five & Twenty wood faggotts to be brought to the said Tenement by my said Sonne Thomas or at his cost or charges

George Fag was buried at St. Leonard, Hythe, Kent on 8 Jan 1622/23.
George Fagg married Joan Lambert on 1st November 1613 at St. Martin, Cheriton, Kent. She is given as al[ia]s Ripard – probably indicating she was
previously married.
