In the Name of God Amen the Sixteenth day of July 1624
I William Fagge of the parrish of Folkestone in the Countie of Kent, Husbandman being sicke in body, yet (Thankes be given to God) of perfect memory, make this my last will and testam[en]t in manner and forme following:
Inprimis I comitt my Soule into the hands of Allmighty God, hoping to be saved by and through the merritts of Jesus Christ my only Savior and redeemer and my body to the earth from whence it came, and to be buried in xpian [Christian] buriall

Item I give and bequeath unto my two daughters Tomsine and Elizabeth five pounds A peece to be payd them at the[i]r Severall ages Sixteene yeares by my executrix hereafter named
Item I give to the Child that my wife is w[i]th Child w[i]thall at the tyme of my death five pounds to be paid the said Child at the age of Sixteene yeares

Item I make and doe ordaine and appoint my wife Alice Fagge sole executrix of this my last will and testam[en]t to whome I give and bequeath all my goodes and chatells watsoever, she paying my debtes and Legacies and dischargeing my burial expences

Item this is the last will and testamt of me the said William Fagge touching my house and Land

Item I give and bequeath my tenem[en]t, Garden and Hemp Spott Sitat [Situated] in the towne of Folkestone to my said Wife during her naturall life, the remainder to my three sonnes John Fagge and William Fagge and Thomas Fagge and to their heires for ever

Item my will and meaning is that if any of my said three Children first above mentioned fortune to dye before they ought to have their sayd Legacies Then I will that the Childes said Legacie soe dying shalbe equally devided amongst all my said Children w[hi]ch shalbe then living

In Witnes whereof I the said William Fagge have hereunto set my hand and seale the day and yeare first above written
