In the name of God Amen the first day of September un the seaventeenth yeare of the reigne of our Sovereigne Lord Charles the second by the grace of God of England, Scotland, France & Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith etc. Anno dini 1665
I Bridgett Ferrall of Lamberhurst in the County of Kent spinster being sicke in body but of perfect & disposing mind & understanding, thankes be given to God therefore, doe ordaine this my last will & testament in manner & forme following (that is to say)
First I bequeath my Soule to God that gave it me hoping through the merritts death & passion of Jesus Christ hoping through the meritts, death & passion of Jesus Christ my saviour (to) inhabit life everlasting & my body to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executrix hereafter named And as for the worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to blesse me I think? dispose of ... First I give to the poore people of Lamberhurst aforesaid Tenne shillings & to the poore people of Brenchly in the County aforesaid Tenn shillings to be distributed amongest them within one moneth next after my decease by my executrix hereafter named

Item I give to my brothers Stephen & John Ferrall Five shillings a peece to be payd unto them within one moneth next after my decease
Alsoe I give unto my brother Tobias Ferrall five shillings and a Twenty shilling peece of gold to be payd & delivered unto him within one moneth next after my decease by my executrix

Alsoe I give unto John Wibley sonne of my sister Judith my silver bowle to be delivered unto him within one moneth next after my decease
Alsoe I give unto William Wibly another sonne of my said sister my silver spoons to be delivered unto him within one moneth next after my decease by my executrix
Also I give unto my sister Elizabeth Groundwell? my eleaven shilling peece of gold to be delivered unto her within one moneth next after my decease

Alsoe I give unto my three sisters Judith Wibley, Phebe Sares & Dinah Baldocke after my mother’s decease all the porcon that was given me by the last will & testament of John Ferrall my Father to be equally devided between them
but my will & meaning is that if my said sister Judith doe happen to dye before my said mother that her third part of the said porcon left me by my said Father shall remaine unto John & William Wibly the sonnes of my said sister Judith & to the survivor of them
And further if my said sister Phebe doe depart this life leaveing no issue of her body behind her then I give the said third part of the said Legacy given me by my father & now by me willed unto her, unto my other sisters Judith & Dinah to be equally devided between them

And my will & meaning is that after my said mother’s decease my brother & sister Baldocke shall have the keeping of the Legacy by me hereing given unto? my said Sister Phebe & to pay her the interest and profitt that can be made thereof untill such time as my brother Sares shall be dead & after his decease the same Legacy shall be paid unto my said Sister Phebe if she be liveing & if she be then dead then to the issue of her body soe soone as such issue have or hath understanding to manage it

Alsoe my will & mind that if my said sister Dinah doe depart this life without issue of her body liveing at the time of the decease of my said mother Then the third part of the said Legacy left me by my said Father & by me hereby given to my said sister Dinah shall remaine & bee unto John Wibly sonne of my sister Judith, Dorothy Ferrall daughter of my brother Stephen & Mary Ferrall daughter of my brother John Ferrall equally

All the rest of my money, goods & chattells whatsoever I give unto my loving mother Dorothy Ferrall whom I make sole executrix of this my last will & testament
