In the name of God Amen the thirteenth day of March Anno din 1647 And [next line scratchd out on microfilm] by the grace of God now king of England etc.
I Thomas Fissenden of the pishe [parish] of St. John the Baptist in the Isle of Thannett in the County of Kent Fellmonger being sicke and weake of bodie but of sound and perfect memorie (praised be God therefore) doe advisedly and deliberately make and ordeyne this my last will and testament in manner and forme following (that is to say)
First I comend my Soule unto Almighty God trusting assuredly the ... of Jesus Christ my Savior to be made p'taker of life everlasting And for the buriall of my bodie I desire the same may be decently interred at the discretion of my Executrix heerunder named

Item I give unto my son Thomas the sume of thirty pounds of lawfull monie of England to be paid unto him or his assignes at his full age of One and twenty yeares by my said Executrix

Item I give unto my two daughters Mildred and Marie the sume of twenty pounds a peece of lawfull monie of England to be paid unto them or their assignes severally at their several ages of twenty yeares or daies of marriage wch shall first happen
And that if either of my said daughters doe happen to die before she shall accomplishe her full age of twenty yeares or day of marriage That then the Survivor of my said daughters shall have her porcon soe dying and at such time as the same is above lymitted to be paid

Item I give unto my said sonne Thomas All that my Messuage or tenement outhouses and buildings whatsoever to the same belonging and now in my occupacon To have and to hold the same unto my said sonn Thomas his heire and assignes forever
ymediately from and after the decease of Alice my now wife to whom I do give and bequeath the same during her naturall life she mayntayning the same from time to time sufficiently required

Item I give and bequeath unto George Palmer my best suite and coate and hatt to be delivered to him within ten daies next after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto Nathaniell Purton my second suite and coate to be likewise delivered unto him ten daies next after my decease

And for the disposall of other my goods and Chattells, bonds, bills, book debts & creditts, Sume & Sumes of monie whatsoever keeping unto them? [fold in paper] I give and bequeath unto my said wife Alice whom I doe make my full and sole Executrix revoking all former wills & desiring her faithfully and truly to go for me the same
