This is the last Will and Testament of me Mary Flint of Headcorn in the County of Kent Widow made this Twenty eighth day of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and seventy nine And in the Nineteenth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth

I will and direct that all my just Debts and Funeral Expences be in the first place fully paid and satisfied
I do give ratify and confirm unto and upon my eldest son Samuel Flint his heirs and assigns for ever All that and those my Messuage Lands and Hereditaments situate lying and being in the Parish of Biddenden in the said County containing altogether in the whole by estimation sixty acres be the same more or less with their appurtenances and now in the tenure or occupation of my said son Samuel Flint his assigns or undertenants and by me settled unto and upon him my said son Samuel Flint and his heirs charged and chargeable with the payment thereout of the sum of Two Hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain unto such person and persons as I should by any Deed or Writing or by my last Will and Testament in writing direct or appoint

Now I do hereby give and bequeath the sum of One hundred pounds part of the said sum of two hundred pounds unto my daughter Ann the wife of Stephen Love
And I give and bequeath the sum of one hundred pounds the residue of the said two hundred pounds unto my daughter Hannah Flint.
And direct and appoint the same to be paid and payable unto my said daughters respectively within the space of twelve months next after my decease.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Richard Flint the sum of ten pounds of like money to buy him Mourning.

Also I give and bequeath unto each of them my said two daughters Ann Love and Hannah Flint the further sum of two hundred and thirty three pounds six shillings and eight pence apiece of like money to be paid and payable unto each of them out of my personal Estate by my Executors hereafter named within the space of one year next after my decease

Provided always and my will and mind expressly is that if either of them my said two daughters Anne Love and Hannah Flint shall happen to die and depart this life in my lifetime leaving issue of her or their respective body or bodies lawfully begotten then and in such case I give and bequeath the said Legacies of one hundred pounds and two hundred and thirty three pounds six shillings and eight pence of her or them so dying unto the child or children of the respective body or bodies lawfully begotten of her or them so dying in my lifetime equally to be divided between such children respectively (if more than one)

but if either of them my said daughters Anne Love and Hannah Flint shall leave only one such child then such only child to have and be intitled to his or her respective Mothers said Legacys on one hundred pounds and two hundred and thirty three pounds six shillings and eight pence the same to be paid and payable within the space of twelve months next after my decease

also I give and bequeath unto such person or persons as shall be mentioned in a paper or papers to be written with mine own hand and inclosed in this my last Will and Testament the several and respective sum and sums of money goods chattels and things in such paper to be mentioned

also I forgive acquit and discharge my said son Samuel Flint of and from the payment of the sum of sixty eight pounds and nineteen shillings or thereabouts owing from him to me for Household Goods and effects bought by him of me

And from and after payment of my debts legacies funeral expences and the charges of proving of this my last Will and Testament and subject thereto I give and bequeath unto my said son Samuel Flint and daughters Ann Love and Hannah Flint All the residue and remainder of my ready moneys securities for money goods chattels effects and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or quality soever the same be (not by me hereinbefore otherwise disposed of) whereof I shall die possessed or which shall be any ways due owing or belonging unto me at the time of my decease and all my Estate and Interest therein share and share alike equally to be divided? between them

And if any or either of them my said son Samuel and daughters shall die and depart this life in my lifetime then and in such case I give and bequeath the part and share or parts and shares of him her or them so dying of and in the said residuum of my Personal Estate unto his her or their respective child or children lawfully begotten

And I do make constitute and appoint him my said son Samuel Flint and the said Stephen Love Executors of this my last Will and Testament
And I hereby revoke and make void all former and other Wills and Codicils by me at any time or times heretofore made

In Witness whereof I the said Mary Flint the Testatrix have to this my last Will and Testament contained in this and the preceding sheet of paper set my hand and seal (to wit) my hand to the preceding sheet and my hand and seal to this last sheet the day and year above written

The Writing contained in this and the preceding sheet of paper was signed and sealed by the above named Mary Flint the Testatrix and by her published and declared as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereto in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other
