I geve to Joane my wyfe halfe my landes during her lyfe if she kepe her selfe widowe
And the other halfe of my landes I geve to my sonne William
uppon condicon he paye unto Richard & Thomas my Sonnes xij poundes a pece at ther(e) sevrall ages of xxj yeres and eyther of them two to be
eache others heyre
And after my wyves decease and after her mariage I will all my whole landes aforesaid to be and
remayne to my said sonne William and to his heyres for ever Conditionally that he paye the xij
pound a pece to my two sonnes aforenamed at ther(e) said ages of xxj yeres
Or els my said Sonnes Richard and Thomas to enter into the one halfe of my landes to ther(e) owne uses
The premisses being spoken in the presence and hearing of Joane Forte the testators wyfe and William his son the day and yere aforesaid and Richard Harveye
Probatum fuit: 24th July 1582 - to Joane Forte, Willi Forte & Richardi Harvye
Note: Richard Forte was buried at St. Nicholas, Ash-next-Sandwich, Kent on 2 May 1582.
