In the name of God Amen I Robert Frend of the Hospitall of St Bartholomew neere and without the walls of the Towne and port of Sandwich in the County of Kent merchant being att present not very well in health but of sound and perfect memory and understanding praysed bee God doe make and declare this my last Will and Testament in writing in manner following
Inprimis I bequeath my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my maker hopeing that through the meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and Redeemer to receave free pardon and forgivenesse of all my sins And for my body I comitt the same to the Earth to bee buried att the discretion om my Executor hereafter named

Item I will bequeath and give unto Thomas Frend my Eldest sonne for Terme of his naturall Life all those Two messuages or Tenements with the outhouses backsides gardeins easments comodities and Appurtenances thereunto belonging scituate lyeing and being in the parish of St. Clement in Sandwich aforesaid now in the Occupacion of Elizabeth Ungly widow and her Assignes or undertenants Together with all the Estate right title Interest Clayme Revercion and demand whatsoever of mee the said Robert Frend of in or to the said messuages and premises or of in or to any parte thereof
And which said messuages and Premises with the Appurtenances descended and came to mee the said Robert and my heires by the death of Thomas Frend my late Brother deceased as his only brother and heire and were sometime the Estate of William Ungly deceased

And after the decease of the said Thomas Frend my eldest sonne I will bequeath and give the said Two messuages and all other the Premises before mentioned with the Appurtenances and all my Estate right and Interest therein as aforesaid unto my Two daughters Mary Frend and Hanna Frend and to their heires for ever equally to bee devided betweene them

Item I will and give to the said Mary my daughter all such Linnen as shee hath spunn and I have had the use of
Item I will bequeath and give unto my said eldest sonne Thomas Frend my Silver beere bowls marked thus R F E in satisfacion for forty shillings which I owe him
Item I will and give to the said Thomas Frend my eldest sonne one sixteenth parte of all that Ketch whereof one John Sampson is now Master and whereof John Wilson was late Master together with one sixteenth parte of the stock profitts sayles cables anchors and furniture thereto belonging

Item I will and give unto Robert Frend my youngest sonne All that my Eight parte of the old Hoy lyeing in the dock on Sandwich Key whereof was sometime master one Daniell Croocenden since deceased together with one Eight parte of the Anchores Cables Ropes and furniture thereto belonging
Item I alsoe will and give unto the said Robert Frend my yongest sonne the summe of Twenty Shillings of lawfull mony of England to bee paid to him within Three moneths after my death by my Executor hereafter named

Item I give and forgive unto my said Two daughters Mary and Hanna Frend to either of them all such monyes as now is or att the time of my death shall bee due for their mainteynance and bringing upp

All the rest of my personall Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature soever not herein otherwise disposed of after my debts funerall charge Legacies before given and probate of this my Will shall bee paid and discharged, I will bequeath and give to the said Thomas Frend my eldest sonne and to my said Two daughters Mary and Hanna Frend equally to bee devided betweene them

Item I doe nominate Constitute and appointe the said Thomas Frend my eldest sonne to bee full and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament.
This is the last Will and Testament of mee the said Robert Frend And I doe hereby revoke and make void all former Wills by mee made

In witnes whereof I have hereunto sett and putt my hand and seale dated the Thirtieth day of September In the Two and Thirtieth yeare of the raigne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles the second by the grace of god now King of England Annoque Domini 1680
